I
had blood work done on March 1, 2001. I wanted to check all my labs after
3 weeks off of the study and my PCR. To my TOTAL AMAZEMENT this is what
I got back:

| Iron | 129 |
| WBC | 3.5 |
| Platelets | 85 |
| AFP | 10.6 |
Even though my LFT's are still in the high range, they have come down quite a bit from only a month ago. My iron is lower than it has ever been and everything else looks really good.
On March 6, my regular Gastroenterologist called me to tell me Congratulations. I had no clue what he was talking about. Then I got this test result:
HCV
RNA PCR QUANT - UNDETECTED!
The
test was done by Speciality Labs in California and goes down to 550. I
apparently am lower than 550! I about had a heart attack! Of course, this
changes everything and I am going BACK on the HALT-C Study immediately!
This
news definately stunned both me and Larry. I have never been undetected
in the 3 years I have been doing interferon treatments.
