MICKEY and MARION THROWER'S LADY
![]() |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Lady was a wonderful cold nosed Red Tick Hound, who could handle a cold track as well as most hounds could run a hot track. Lady proved her worth until her teens. For Mickey and Marion as well as Mickey's Daddy. Lady also had the ability to throw these great traits into her puppies. Many of fine hound can call Lady his Mama. Where ever fine dogs go. I am sure that Lady is there and giving plenty of that beautiful bawl mouth on a real tough cold track that the rest of the pack can't smell.

Trixie and Sam | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
![]() |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
This brace of hounds were owned by Robert Warson in the 50's and 60's. One was a basset and one was a beagle. The miss match of looks never hampered their ability to run a rabbit to gun or hole. Trixie the beagle had the un-canny ability to run a rabbit in august in a corn field that nothing was growing but corn for over two hours until the rabbit went to hole in a rock pile. Many folks that live in Calhoun County Michigan can attest the assets of her. Sam was a hound that would run anything you put your finger to. Being a low slung basset hound fences was his only problem.
