Precipitation

by Nur Abdur Rashid

Once-raptured thoughts,
transcendent thoughts, condense.

Rarified ideas
distilled
through fibrous membranes
of agile, nimble brains eager

to know and show again;
a remembrance,

let burst.

A sudden down-pour of
refracted thoughts
in drops
of Roman characters
and Hangul characters,
like a Spring shower
on the midwinter's garden
of my admiration:

85 #2 graphite points dance
on wooden desks.
