FIGURE IT OUT! We get loaded and sneak into creepy abandoned buildings late at night!

What is the

Dominoes After-Midnight Club?

WHAT IS THE DOMINOES AFTER-MIDNIGHT CLUB??

Connie, Jason, and others on the 2nd floor of the Tivoli, 1997

You probably already know what's going on here. It's a club, it's a gang, it's becoming a phenomenom. We get a thrill out of exploring, and we trip by exploring in an unusual way. Some of us are thrillseekers, some of us are treasure-hunters, some of us are would-be historians. We in this club all suffer from curiosity. Over ten years after our "first night out", our covert pasttime now is more than just a group of friends with "nothing to do after work and the beer's all gone" (from our original mission statement, 1995). Nowadays we take it a little more seriously, sensing not only an obligation to preserve the historic sites to which we owe these diversions, but also to the increased popularity of our concept since we made it public with the website. We do not hold claim to any of the locations we explore, therefore we are obliged to share what we learn with as many people as are also interested.

Is it legal? The Dominoes After-Midnight Club serves to protect, preserve, and respect any of the locations we visit. Unlike vandals or other troublemakers, the Club's members adhere to strict rules while lurking. We never, EVER, break into anyplace where we go into or destroy, deface, or remove any part of it. We make a sound decision to lurk a building when it has been determined that there is a free and clear passage into it and the building is not posted or signed for trespassing, and there is no apparent safety hazard towards any of the lurkers.
IN NO WAY DOES THE D.A.M.C. ADVOCATE TRESPASS, VANDALISM, OR ANY OTHER ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. Enough said!
