Haven't you heard about the fastest-growing (and maybe the strangest) club on the Gulf Coast? Do YOU know what a LURK is? Are you interested in finding out?? Our club posts and shares current activities and previous reports amongst OUR MEMBERS. The D.A.M.C. is an off-limits exploration group established in 1995 with a goal to research and archive unrecognized or otherwise inaccessible HISTORICAL AREAS. To this end, they often employ unconventional and specialized means in the process of exploring and the gathering of data. Visitation to off-limits or posted areas can be illegal and punishable by law.
IN NO WAY DOES THE D.A.M.C. ENGAGE IN NOR ENCOURAGE
TO OTHERS ACTIVITY WHICH VIOLATES LOCAL AND FEDERAL LAW.
The D.A.M.C. DOES NOT ADVOCATE VANDALISM OR HAZARDOUS TRESPASS.
These explorations have many times brought them into dangerous places without regard for conditions or personal safety. Why? The thrill. Why? They go to places where everyday people never go, or worse, are never eve n interested in seeing. Society has discarded these sites like garbage, and has written them off to the bottomless pile of unidentifiable trash that will remain only to bookmark a large part of the impact our culture has had on our century. The D.A.M.C. has probed into the decomposing corpses and has taken snapshots of their decay. They have been sincere to these goals ever since.
Plus, they usually run out of other stuff to do
after work and the beer's all gone.

Begin your own exploration below. Again, the information presented is only for educational purposes and does not suggest to engage in illegal activity. Read about the history of the DAMC, or start out on a guided tour of this month's feature locations.

The LATEST NEWS! DAMC members give up night lurking to support the restoration of the old White House hotel on Biloxi Beach In 1999. All new explorations! All new adventures! Visitors can also explore the " Tivoli Hotel," another historically neglected Gulf Coast landmark hopefully on the road to restoration soon. Don't forget to explore the origins of the Dominoes After-Midnight club by sneaking into the updates (with never-before seen pics, finally!) from our very first lurks from 1995 at The old Biloxi Regional Medical Center, an abandoned hospital which has since been renovated back into useful service. Don't forget to bring along some of your own explorations and let's exchange what we've learned about historical abandonments nation wide.

NEW, after the Spring-- The After Hours Pages. You'll never know until you try it. Meet the drivers' choice at the Drive-Thru Window Babe of the Month award, learn about a worthwhile historical preservation effort for the Morris Island Lighthouse in South Carolina, or dare to enter the realm of our Pizza Mistress at Tina's TURDS page.
