"Discover the TIVOLI, and discover
a world apart where time has stood still,
waiting....for you."
--from the last circulating brochure featuring "Biloxi's TIVOLI,
The Coast's Landmark Hotel", from about 1985.
Evidently Biloxi's Landmark Hotel has seen better days. We enter the main building from rear service room by stepping up to an open doorway. This goes into a long, main corridor that goes through the middle of the building, terminating near the elevator shaft and the perpendicular hall where the staircase is. This dark view of the corridor is looking towards the front. Along the corridor to the left and right are entries to the various service and storage areas that take up most of the room in the back part of the first floor. If you go through the doors ahead and turn left, you can walk towards the staircase and the East Door.

This view is turning to the right at the end of the corridor, and looks into one of the main service rooms.Water is heard dripping in here, and some has pooled on the floor. Once in this room, to the right is staff bathrooms and smaller service and storage rooms. This room adjoins the main bar and dining area to the left and was likely a kitchen area. Unlike the White House hotel (in its pre-restoration years)a few miles down the beach, in this hotel remained a wealth of old junk and artifacts, and virtually no grafitti. The DAMC had found buried treasure, an unmolested time capsule....
