The Guild's Deep Space Nine

DEEP SPACE NINE

A crew who builds themselves as they rebuild a shattered, yet beautiful world. A wormhole that leads where no one has gone before, a gateway sacred to the planet's people, yet opening onto enemy and friend alike.

This is DS9 as I pictured it. Unfortunately, the powers that be at the studio don't see it the same way. Let's just say I stopped watching the show over "Creative Differences."

My friend Tony has a page that I have come to agree with. He hates the series, and clearly lists why. My friend Richard Pugh, former "producer" of Star Trek: Rhiannon, also shares my opinion. In fact, we both got burned out at the same time, for much the same reasons.

I no longer write Trekfic, and I no longer even LIKE the universe, but I maintain this small archive of my work. One story, "Compatibility Factor," was voted among "best of the net" in one survey.

One warning: I am a shameless Julian Bashir and Jadzia Dax fan, and a couple of these stories feature them in a romantic entanglement. (Yes, damn it, I know about Worf - and I can say with experience that I'd rather have teeth pulled than watch that wedding episode. With getting teeth pulled, there's at least good painkillers involved). All the stories are set in one universe, so whatever I write for DS9 must have some continuity with my other stories. It's just a "thing" with me.
