Rain's page

CheckSpace

Hi! And welcome to my new, improved, and grammatically incorrect page!! Before we start, this page is best viewed with simply because otherwise, the image map(s) might not work. (whew!)

This is basically a sort of "springboard", I guess it could be called, to other pages in the directory. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will find said pages. There's some information here, about my hobbies and all, but that's about it. I mean, really ... what else is there to life?

In case you were wondering, this page is called CheckSpace for absolutely no reason at all. All I know is, the title CheckSpace (inspired by BlinkSpace, in case you couldn't tell) just sort of popped into my head. I have no clue what it means, but I like it, so it stays. So there.

"Rain," by the way,is a character in this comic that one of my friends created. It's supposed to sort of represent me, although, for some strange, unknown reason, Rain never wears jeans. Just nice, long flowery skirts. [Can we say retro ...?] In fact, the above picture -- I mean, the picture with the title under it -- is a picture of Rain. Isn't it great? You can see more pictures, and the comics, hopefully, at Prudence's Homepage, which you can get to by way of my links page.

My interests include Sailor Moon , Star Trek (any one of the series), The X-Files , Babylon 5 ... let's just say that I love all kinds of science fiction and leave it at that. Especially Independence Day .

I also like The X-Men . You know, the comic book. I'm actually sixteen now, but I never read or collected them when I was ten, so I've decided to make up for lost time. 'Sides - how many ten year-olds do you know that fully understand the implications of bio-mechanical wings and the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse? Anyhow, I am also a fan of Generation X - the comic book about the next generation of mutants. And, though it isn't strictly about mutants, Elektra , the new comic book that is also being published by Marvel.

Okay. So the other stuff in my directory are below, and most of the stuff is still in the preliminary stages or whatever ... it's an ongoing thing. Enjoy!

By the way -- I killed off the Voyager/DS9 page. So if you actually wanted me to keep it, it's too late now ... I finally got around to making an image page. Well, I'm working on it. It, like everything else, is a work in progress. And an Elektra page will be up ... eventually.

And I killed off the Penance sites, because, well, frankly it didn't interest me any more. I think Gen X is definitely going down hill. And I've got an entire Cyberforce thing going now, so ... I have to work on it. Really. And I've fractured the image sites, so they should be faster to load now.

I finally updated the Blink and Psylocke sites, at the expense of the AoA one. Oh, well. Not like many people were visiting anyway.

All right, I'm going to make you plow through more text before you get on to the interesting stuff. See, thing is, I should probably extend thanx to all those people who helped me. So, here it is: (if they have webpages, you can find links to them in Links III)

Links Finally, I only have one links page! (Wow)

BlinkSpace My page on Blink, who just happens to be my very favourite character in the entire Marvel universe. So ... I don't care if you've never heard of Marvel. I don't care if you've never picked up a comic book. I don't even care about the fact that Blink is, theoretically, dead. Visit. That was not a request.

Images This is my image page. It might take a while to load. There are images of Blink, Psylocke and Elektra, mainly, with a couple of Sailor Moon. I'll be adding more Sailor Moon pics eventually.

Cyberforce This is my new slew of pages about Cyberforce. and it's done. Well, mostly. They're cancelling the book, but it's done. The site, I mean. So visit. (PS -- Cyberforce is a comic book published by Top Cow/Image)

Crimson Shadows Dedicated to the X-Men's Japanese-by-way-of-Britain ninja telepath person. In other words, Psylocke. She's the one with the purple hair. (Notice how none of the X-Women have normal hair??)

people have visited this site since the counter was re-initialized March 1, 1997. I'm not sure whether to be really depressed or really happy that someone actually came...
