The Watcher looks down at the world spinning magestically in the void, he than casually looks up and says to himself "As a Watcher it is my place to merely watch the events of mankind unfold, and now I see a critical event unfold."
The X-Manssion...
Silent since Charles Xavier was taken into custody. Standing before it are the X-men or whats left of them beaten, and their spirits bought down to their lowest by the continual onslaught of events that over the past year has left them with no allies, only themselves to depend on. As they watch Scott Summers lock the mansion doors one final time they hear a booming voice behind them.
"X-men, you have been branded as outlaws, and you must be bought to justice!"
Turning weary of this kind of situation the X-men find themselves confronted by a group of strangely clad humans. The leader wearing a sky blue body suit, red trunks, boots and a cape with a stylized "S" emblem points at them. "Surrender or we of the Justice League, will be forced to take you in."
Logan pops his claws, and snarls and the X-men prepare to defend against this strange group, this Justice League....
"Hold on, Logan," calms Kitty Pryde, curentaly visiting from Muir Isle. "Alright, Mr.S, let's get this straight." "Either we surrender OR you take us into custody , correct?"
"That's right miss."
"And you give us your word that this is the situation?"
"Wha--? Well, yes.."
"Well, in that case, we surender." States Shadowcat simply.
"WHAT?!" bolth X-men and Justice Leguers question in astonisment.
"Relax guys, I have this under control."
"But--!"
"RELAX!"
"Alright, X-Men, let's go." Says the big red S.
"No." Kitty says simply.
"But you surrendured!"
"Yes, and by your word, we will now NOT be taken into coustody."
"But--!"
"You ARE a man of your word, are you not?"
"Well, yes, but..."
"No buts! you gave your word."
the man in the red cape utters Kryptonian profanities under his breath.
"WE never gave any conditions!" the bat man says cautiously approching the X-men.
"The S was speaking for you all as a figure head represenitive. he used 'WE' and I heard no objections!" Argues Shadowcat. you're welcome to stay as long as you behave your self, otherwise, the door is right over there." she says pointing at the door.
"Screw that!" cries the Capt. Hook reject who points at Kitty."We were given orders to haul you muties in and that's what we're
going to do."
"Over my dead body, Bub." grunts Wolverine as he shows off his ADAMANTIUM claws.
"Bring it on furball." glares the Capt. with his Hook.
"Stand down!" orders Storm and the woman on the other team simultaneously to their teammates.
"Look...X-Men." speaks up a man in red body suit. "We're only here because we are the only ones capable to take you guys in for your crimes against
humanity and to the govt. sanctioned OZT. So please make this easy, we don't want a fight."
"Neither do we." replys Jean. "But we did no crime and we aren't going under custody."
"Well we're sorry but we have orders..." starts a youngman in green.
"Forget ya authoritys Sugah we're innocent." states Rogue. "And that's that."
Rogue then turns around to go back into the mansion when suddenly *BAM*A grappling hook wraps around her body.
"Forget it sweet heart, dead or alive your coming with us." grins the Hook.
WHACK!!!!
The Capt. goes flying out of the Mansions yard as Joseph flew in and slugged him good.
"Ah don't want to argue right now!" shouts Rogue.
A boomerang type object then hits Rogue in the jaw.
"Then we won't argue." speaks the bat man.
"Alright just remember you started it not us." points out Iceman freezing up.
"We'll get over it." says the man dressed in green as his ring starts glowing.
The X-Men and the JLA stare at each other hard and then.....
Somewhere else (about five meters away)
"Hey you getting all this Herk?"
"Yea X. All on the camera."
"Great! Picture this the FIGHT OF THE CENTURY,
the JLA vs. the X-Men...20 bucks a video!"
"I like it boss."
"That's why I thought of it, Herk."
"Right boss."
And even farther else (on the blue area of the moon)
The Watcher...watches.
Kitty speaks up again, "Hold it! Can we see your warrent?"
"Cirtainly, miss." says Batman spraying her with the BATknockout gas. "Stupid kid, standing in the way of justice!" "Justice Legue... Attack!"
"Bruce! Wait." stops S man. "We DO have a warent don't we?"
"Look, Kal, Who's side are you on anyway?!"
"We DO have a warent, DON'T we?" Kal says, getting irritated with his friend.
"Well..."
"I'll take that as a 'no'."
"We'll be back, X-men. You WILL be brought to justice!"
"You seem a good and noble man, Kal, think this over." "once we 'stinking muties', as your friend so eloquently put it,
are out of the way, who's to stop them from going after the rest of you meta-humans?" Stom mentions in parting.
Three hours later the Justice League returns, warrant in hand.
"Okay X-Men, your ours now." Says Bats.
SMASH! Batman gets blown in two by Chamber's surprise energy attack.
The X-Men emerge from their mansion with the rest of the merry mutant family. The Justice League has no idea what their in for.
"You want us. You're going to have to take us." Havok screams as he fires a bolt at Flash.
The X-men (& X-Factor & Excalibur & X-Force & Gen. X) attack en masse. Wonder Woman goes down in the initial battle.
Flash is unconsiose & Superman looks pretty beat. The X-Men are not with out losses of thier own.
Pete Wisdom's remains have been spread from here to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Green Lantern literally tore him to shreds,
yet keeping him alive until it was all done. The most bloody, painful, horrifying deaths any one could ever die.
Shatterstar too is dead, his head ripped from his body by the Martian Manhunter.
In the heat of battle Superman calls on his comunicator to Max (you know, the guy who co-ordinates the JL) to send re-enforcements.
The X-Men were way more powerful than the JL gave them credit for. (And the X-Men haven't even called in Nate Grey yet).
Fierce minutes later, all of a sudden a glow apears. It's caused by Captain Atom irradiating the entire mansion.
It might not kill anybody still in there immediately, but they'll suffer painful deaths as they die of radiation poisoning.
Iceman lauches an attack against the not-Mintyman real Superman. Superman quickly melts Iceman with his heat vision.
since Iceman has been so lax learning his abilities, it'll take him a while to reform from water vapor.
While he's at it, he mets Collosus down with his heat vision too.
Forge pulls out a gun, but the bullets suddenly change into flowers as Firestorm flies off gigling.
Suddenly Forge's artifiacial linps turn into tissue paper and he falls to the ground! Such is the power of Firestorm!
Wolverine lets out a mighty growl! Then suddenly his head falls off and lands on the ground! Martian Manhunter then materializes out from behind the corpse.
He had turned invisible and and further used his psi powers to further hide him from Wolverine. Then he used his super strength and ripped Wovie's head off.
He then throughs it high into the air, where Fire of The JLA incinerates it completely!
Green Arrow lets a couple of them fly, and they hit Cyke in the face, taking out his visor. As the ruby quartz breaks, his blast erupts at full power! Trouble is,
he was looking at Psylocke's rear at the time. She's cut in half at the waste.
Another Arrow in then shot, hitting him in the gonads...Suddenly Green Arrow wakes from a trance-like state. "Why did I do that?" he stutters.
Meanwhile, miles away, the Goblin Queen smiles.
Warpath is getting ready to punch the Gypsy, when suddenly his arm is ripped off by Captain Marvel. CM then beats Warpath to death with the bloody limb.
The Flash regains consciuosness, and quickly runs and grabs Quicksliver. "You think you're fast! Try this!!", he shouts at the mutant. He then runs at nearly lightspeed,
causing Quicksilver to burn up due to friction.
Cannonball launches himself at Superman. Unfortunately, his blast field is no match for the Kryptonian's invulnerabilty. It'll take Superman weeks to get it out of his suit!
Joseph graps Powergirl and causes the iron in her blood to escape from her body. She falls to the ground dead. He lets out a small electo-magnetic burts.
Red Rocket (his armor now powerless due to the burst) falls to the ground. Unfortunatley, Strong Guy's pacemaker also goes out and he falls to the ground with a heart attack.
Suddenly Rogue screams, "Joseph! Help me! It's you I've always loved! Now Gambit it trying to kill me!" Joseph flies down to Rogue. He sees Gambit tossing charged cards at her.
"So," Joseph thinks, "This is his secret! He works for the JLA!!" He then causes Gambit's head to explode. He rushes to Rogue and takes her in his arms.
Suddenly, she rops Josephs head off! Suddenly she shape shifts into the Martian Manhuter!!! 3 heads in one day!
X-Man shows up and uses his incredible psi-powers to place the JLA in coma-like trances. Suddenly Cable shows up! Their powers backlash and they both fall to the ground!
The JLA is freed! Despero (with L-Ron's brain) disintergrate's both of the Nates' bodies with a high powered lazer gun!
Hawkman stabs Angel through the forehead with a knife.
The Hitman (Max keeps him on retainer) shoots all of the Gen X kids except M, Chamber, Husk, and Pennance. Included are Leech and Artie. M knocks the Hitman's head off.

Franklin Richard's shows up and stops all fighting with his power to alter reality. Superman resistes him, and Richard's turns him into the blue, electified Mintyman!
Superman kills himself in disgust. Franklin shouts, "The fighting is over!!! JLA go home! The X-Men are under my protection! Don't mess with me! I'm almost a 5-year old god!!!"
"Yessss...but you are not God. But I am an aspect of Him!" Suddenly the the Vegence of God (aka the Spectre) arrives and kills everyone!
"STOP THAT GL" Batman yelled from the computer console he was staring at. Green Latern looks up from his own creation of the battle via his power ring.
"We don't need to be fooling around right now, GL. Conducting the battle with holographic images from your ring is FOOLING AROUND" Batman stated coldly.
He turns his attention back toward the computer screen he had previously been studying. "Xavier Protocols" was the title of the screen.
Knowing that one should never go into any sort of battle ill prepared, Batman took it upon himself to crack the Xavier Mansion's Security codes to access any relevant information
he could find regarding the coming battle. Only one such as Batman, the most intelligent mind on the planet could crack Alien Shi'ar technology. Reading through the files,
Batman acquaintes himself with the strength's and weaknesses of his opponents and devises a Plan. Later he briefs the JLA core members on his findings.
I have found a way to bring the X-Men into custody." Batman states "But we have to do this systematically."
"Superman...The primary threat of the X-Men is Wolverine, Storm, and Jean Grey. Wolverine can be dealt with easily absent his claws. Please Break them.
Storm is also a major threat but you have the endurance to weather (no pun intended) anything she can toss at you. Take her down quickly.
As for Jean Grey, she is shown to be the most powerful psi on the planet. While J'onn uses his limited telepathic powers to distract her,
physically assault her while she is engaged in a psionic defense against MM"
"GL...Cyclops is yours, use your power ring to cover his eyes with hard light...that should take care of him"
"Wonder Woman...Rogue is yours. She is strong, and she has the ability to absorb your powers, so tangle her with your lasso, and then proceed with a physical assault."
"Aquaman...just hit somebody."
"Flash...Quicksilver is yours...hit him fast and hard...shouldn't take more than a second."
"and I will deal with the rest...I have developed a device that should negate the innate powers of the X-Men...They are armbands which blend into all of our individual costumes.
When we engage those mutants, their powers should be weakened or at best completely negated..."
"Let's go...WE HAVE WORK TO DO!"
As the Justice Legue aprochs the Manssion, the proximity alarms go off.
"Looks like we have un-invited guests. Shadowat? You want to go see what they want?" Inquires Cyclops.
"No problum!" says Kitty phasing through the forcefields surounding the Manssion.
"May I help you?" inquires Kitty upon reaching the JL(A?).
"Step aside, miss. We have a warent for the arrest of the X-Men." Says the man dressed as a bat.
"On what charges?"
"Crimes against humanity and against the government sanctioned Operation Zero Tollerance."
"Crimes against humanity? Like what?"
As kitty keeps the JLA bussey with chatter, a brief gentle scan of their minds by Jean sparks an idea fro a stratigy.
"Quick, evryone! into civilian clothes!"
