Soundwave acts like a radiolink for other Decepticons and can detect any type of transmissions. Even though he despises most Decepticons he is VERY loyal to his leader Megatron and takes very good care of the Decapticon femms because he finds them skillful warriors and finds them more fun to talk to. Can also read minds of other beings by monitoring electrical brain impulses.
