Aleister Crowley's altar from the famed "Black Temple" in Chancery Lane
(see the Autohagiography and Equinox Vol. 1, #1, "At the Fork of the Roads").

Crowley brought it to New York, where it was purchased by Robert Ripley,
of "Ripley's Believe It Or Not!" fame. I was able to purchase it later.

AC originally had it painted in bright colours reminiscent of his Art, and the
shoes of the figurine are still bright blue!

Above the altar is a genuine Voudon ritual flag from Haiti which was used in
the announcement of the Rolling Stones' "Voodoo Lounge" Tour
