To boldly go where none has gone before,
Is our mission, uncharted space to explore,
Perchance to greet a face at yon alien door,
The fruit is out there.
If only once another species we could see,
And extend the hand of friendship and this plea,
Lets try to understand each other and live in peace and harmony,
The fruit is out there.
With all our courage, efforts, strength, and care,
Others would know that we had been, out there,
To leave our mark, to leave a sign,
To leave the fruit of our labors behind,
The fruit is out there.
