You land safely at the designated site. It is nearly destroyed, and the remains of the sentry force are strewn miles around.

[If they decide to search]

Very little is left except for a few holed carcasses slumped on their computer equipment. A recorded message sender button is blinking, ready to be played.

It says (not yet encoded): "This is Earth Outpost 00248. We are requesting immediate backup! Mars Base support has been eliminated! We're under attack! Repeat: Requesting immediate...Arrghh!" Static comes over the message. You reach the conclusion that the majority of the recipients of the Mailman's mail have been killed. Over the next few days you distribute the mail to the surviving humans. You always hear of a rendezvous somewhere near a place called Reflex Point. You run into soldiers who are on their way to fight the Invid. One soldier asks you to help with the fight against the Invid Invaders after telling you the story of the Invasion. Do you wish to help in the assault on Reflex Point?
