X-Men 71 Redo DISCLAIMER: All characters belong to Marvel, please don't sue. I've also used some words directly out of the issue X-Men #71 (which will be in-between + symbols), so now that you know I didn't write those parts, and I am no longer committing forgery let's begin.

NOTE: I'm redoing X-Men #71, if you've read it you'll know when I'm coming from when Jean shows up. I'm leaving the first half of her thoughts unsaid; I'm just going to start where I stop agreeing with her. (Ain't I selfish?) The rest of it I'm winging. Oh, and if this turns out I might continue with more issues. Enjoy.

X-MEN #71 REDO

By Christine Demerath

Slowly Remy's eyes flicker to life. Felling the warmth of the comforting blankets, he quickly decides not to get up. A sigh of effort slips from his throat as he turns onto his side and snuggles farther into the blankets.

"Ah, look who has waken." A deep voice emerged from the shadows.

"Go `way, Summers." Remy grumbled while still sleeping. "Damn ya early morning training sessions."

A chuckle escaped the man's lips. "Have you forgotten so quickly?"

Remy's mind slowly searched for a name to go with the voice. His head was spinning uncontrollably; taking him longer to processes anything. But as soon as it clicked, his body tensed and his mind caught up with him. "Sinister," he jumped to his feet, his mind still spinning. His body loosened up a bit, hiding his emotions. But as always his eyes betrayed him, glowing red with anger. "What I be doing here?"

"Show a little gradifacsion, I did save your life." He smirked.

"Didn't need ta be saved," he grumbled sourly.

"Ah, but you did. I'm surprised you got a far a you did."

"I didn't want your help," he almost shouted. He turned his back to the other man, remembering how Rogue left him to die. Then continued by whispering weakly as he held back a tear, "Didn't care if I got out of dere."

+Deadly as Bastion was, he hasn't left half as deep as scar on our little family as Remy has. Friend. X-Man. Judas. + Jean considered, as she hovered upside down. + The sense of betrayal left….. +

"Jean, you're not being fair." Scott rose from the bed with much effort.

"What?" Jean quickly caught herself before hitting the floor. "That was a close one." She whispered. "How so?" She spook through their psychic repor.

"I hate to say this, I really do, but if Gambit is a triader, then what dose that make the professor? Gambit did this before he joined the X-Men, and Professor X …. well he tried to do something much worse."

"How can you say that the Professor did something worse? You know what happened in those tunnels. Beside, that wasn't the professor, that was Magneto."

"Jean that wasn't just Magneto that was the Professor too. Gambit tried to stop it, Jean, and you know damn well why he was aways on that roof. You know how I hate Sinister and I'm not that fond of Gambit either , but I tell you this, Gambit has changed sense then. Both Gambit and the Professor regret it." They were starting to get into it.

"Scott, let's not argue about it, okay?" I almost lost you yesterday. "We've got a long day ahead."

"*Sigh* I'm sorry, Jean, your right. Why don't you go get yourself breakfast?"

"You want anything?

"No, I'm fine."

"Scott, I love you." Kissing him on the head she left the room.

"You, too."

Scott sighed and lay back down on his bed, hands behind his head. "Where the hell did that come from?"

"Trish?" Hank walked into the almost empty room. His lover sitting in the large window pain.

"Hey, Blue."

"Are you alright? I've been looking for you."

"Yeah," she continued to stare out the window.

"You do know that Logan didn't mean it, don't you?"

"Maybe, but he was right."

"No he wasn't."

"Come on, Hank. Open your eyes."

"Love blinds me," he whispers as he wraps his arms around her.

Okay, I know this was short, but I liked most of 71 and so I let it as is. I might start doing one monthly, but the parts will be much long. It will be a lot easier to start after Uncanny X-Men #352. Would anyone be interested in helping? I'm not doing all the titles, probably just the two X-Men titles, and extras if someone else wants to do it. You pretty much can make the plot (I hate making plots!! That's where I need help!) and all I'll do is approve it, if I get any response from anyone wanting to do this I'll put something on my page tell you more.
