'Our opinions are our own, let's express them.'

Ever so often we update this section, we don't really have time to write stuff up like this much. SOO.. instead of it being left to riot, we ask that people write something up or send pictures in to let us know what is happening in the comics and how you feel about them.

Christine's Opinion and Report On Current Events {1-1-98}

Well, Gambit number one was released 23rd of December so I'll comment on that.  In one way I was very depressed about it and in another I liked it.  One, I didn't like the art, it's personal preference and I'm not saying I could do any better but I really wish they would have brought someone in just for issue no. 1 or had different artists do different covers.  There was five and I may scan them soon so you can see them all, but out of all of them I only liked one or two.   The art over all was good and I give the guy a hand, his works gotten better.   In the issue Remy goes after an artifact, executioner attacks Remy because he in on the expedition and of course he sees Remy as a threat.  We also get to see Jean-Luc, a mysterious woman shows up in his dream and Jean tells her about Remy's life.  He explains that Remy was kidnapped by the guild.  I don't like this idea because I thought the guilds had high moral systems.  Children were something they would do no wrong to.  Anyway.. Jean-Luc kidnapped Remy back from the evil man that he gave him to after being taken from his original parents.  So Jean-Luc couldn't take Remy in right away so he left him on the streets with other guild mixing children.There he grew up and meet Bella Donna after trying to save her.. he didn't need to.  Bella was trained in the ways of the assassains already and the woman in Jean-Luc's dream described them as "Pulp-Fiction meets Dawson's Creek." They became friends and soon after Jean-Luc brought the ten year old boy into his home.  He became a master-thief and fell in love with Bella Donna after there wedding Remy was exiled from New Orleans for defending himself against Julian, Bella's brother.  In the end Remy and Rogue were left talking to each other after she'd saved him from near death.  The rest people, is yours to find out.

Okay I know where Scott and Jean are but it ticks me off that they just let Angel, Beast, and Bobby drop.  Are they up there or home, what?  And Psylocke, she's probably in New York but we've heard nothing about them.   And Bishop *sigh* they were suppose to tell us more about what's happen to him in December... and ummm.. December is GONE!  Hello *knocks on Lee's head* Wake up man.   And Joe... I know there's a plot and all that will have him in the next issue I pick up but excuse me... no one noticed that he was gone!  And Bishop was mentioned by them ONCE.  They probably think he's dead and they do nothing, no funeral.   AGH!  Okay I'm going to stop on this before I get really going.

Okay this isn't X-Men it's Wild C.A.T.s, but I wanna saw, AGH THEY KILLED MAX AND #51 ISN'T OUT!!!!   *Jumps off soap box and runs from the flying tomatoes.*
