Cyclops made sure again that he had everything he needed. After doing that he quickly ran to the hangar where Cannonball, Gambit, Wolverine, Psylocke, Rogue and Beast were waiting for him. Storm was also standing near by. Cyclops looked at all of them. "Okay you know the situation. Gen. X are attacked by someone in NY, The White Queen has sent a message to Jean asking for help. Now hurry before it's too late." Everyone quickly moved to the Blackbird. Cyclops was the last one to enter. He looked back at Storm who stood motionless. "Storm have the rest ready we may need help."

"I will. Take care." The door slammed shut behind them and Scot sat down as Beast and Gambit flew the plane towards New York. He only hoped they would make it on time.

Few minutes later they were above the battle scene. There was a lot of dust and they couldn't see anything. The door forced open and Cyclops and Gambit jumped out hanging on to ropes. While they were absailing down Cyclops looked at Gambit. "I don't want you to act foolishly Remy."

Remy grinned and shouted back. "No need ta worry boss."

They let go of their lines and landed on the ground. Dust was everywhere and they could barely see anything. Cyclops spoke into his receiver. "Hank everything is okay down here. There is no fight. Land the Blackbird we may need medical help here." They both looked around. They were standing in front of a building that had been crushed down. There was no sight of any people anywhere and Scott was beginning to worry they were too late indeed. In that time the Blackbird landed and all of the X-Men came out. Suddenly in front of them some rocks moved. After few seconds they started to ramble. A powerful sound wave blew all of them out of the way. A red haired man appeared in front of them.

"Scott ?" he asked at the sight of Cyclops

"Sean thank god you are okay." Cyclops said while the rest helped Gen. X to come out. "What happened ?"

"I donye know. I saw the Sentinels take Paige, Everett, Angelo and Emma away and then the building collapsed on us."

"What about Elizabeth ?" asked Sam.

Fear appeared in Sean's eyes. "Dear God. I don't know. She was not with us and she was not taken away."

"I go an' look for 'er mon ami." said Remy and walked off wandering through the ruins.

"Ah'll go too." shouted Sam and ran after Remy. They both wandered through the ruins hoping to find some sight of Elizabeth. Suddenly Remy stopped. He felt a movement to his left. He looked there and saw a red gloved hand sticking out of the rocks.

"Dere." he said pointing in the direction.

"Mah God." said Sam while he and Remy ran to the spot. The threw the rocks away. After a while they found her body. She didn't seem to have any injuries besides few scratches and a bleeding forehead. Sam listened to her breath. "She's not breathing !" he shouted fear in his voice.

"No pulse either." admitted Remy.

"Quick, we must do CPR on her."

"Sam I don' think...."

Sam looked at Remy. They were loosing time. "At least let's try."

"Okay. I do de heart massage ya d' de breath." said Remy while he found a spot on Elizabeth's left breast. He gently pushed down ready to go. Meanwhile Sam had her head on his lap and bent over her mouth.

He pulled his hair back from his eyes and bent over Elizabeth to inhale. He knew that they had a slim chance of succeeding. He breathed some air into her mouth and lifted his head looking at Gambit who pressed the spot on Elizabeth's breast with his hands. Sweat appeared on Sam's face and he could see it was the same with Remy. Still no response. "It not be working !" he shouted.

"Keep trying !" Sam shouted while he breathed in her mouth again. As soon as Sam's mouth was of Remy pushed his hand down.

"One. Two. Three. Four. Five. It still not be workin' !"

Tears of fear appeared in Sam's eyes. "C'mon Elizabeth don't go."

"One. Two. Three. Four. Five."

"C'mon Elizabeth, c'mon damn it." Sam bent over her for the last time. As he was about to put his lips to hers he heard a soft cough. He glanced up and saw Elizabeth's green eyes staring at him with confusion.

"S..s...Sam ?"

"Elizabeth. Thank God you're alive." said Sam looking at Elizabeth fear still on his face. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Remy get up.

Elizabeth looked at them still confused. "Wha...what happened." suddenly her memory popped back. And with memory came fear. She suddenly remembered how afraid she was. She sprang up and threw her arms around Sam. "I was so afraid, I though I was going to die when that building fell on me. Oh Sam I was so afraid."

"Don't be Elizabeth, everything is okay now. You are with friends. C'mon lets get you some medical help. Can you walk ?"

"Yes I think I can I don't think I've broken anything." she said trying to get a grip on herself. Slowly she stood up. Her legs felt like rubber and she swayed back into Sam's arms. "Uh I guess I can't walk." she said with a weak smile.

"Dat be okay chere Sam can carry ya." said Remy with a big grin. His humor was back.

"Yeah, um o'course." said Sam. He gently picked up Elizabeth by her legs and her back and carefully walked back to the rest with Remy following behind.

It was a miracle that she didn't break anything. She had few scratches here and there but mostly she was okay. Her skull seemed to be okay as well. She just had a bandage over it but it didn't even hurt much. The worst part was the pain on her left breast. She was told it would go away but she wasn't sure if it would. Her whole breast hurt from the heart massage Gambit gave her. She should be thankful. Him and Sam saved her life. Still the pain was striking her like a lighting. Her mouth felt uncomfortable too. Not that she minded Sam's lips on her lips but she just didn't feel that well. She drank her hot coffee and as the liquid filled her insides she thought of their situation. Ms. Frost, Angelo, Paige and Everett had been taken away by who ever it was that attacked them. Everyone mentioned Sentinels and that they seemed to be Sentinels but really weren't. That was too confusing. And she didn't even know what a Sentinel was. Out of the rest, no one got really hurt. They all managed to jump into a tunnel before the building came down. If only she would be so smart and keep with the team. She instead wandered on her own and she got what she deserved. She almost died. She just thanked God for Gambit's ability to detect movement.

The leaders were in the room next door discussing their plan to retrieve Emma and the rest. Jubilee walked into the room followed by Jono who was totally angry that Paige had been taken away. Jubilee sat down next to her. "How are you feeling ?"

"You mean beside the pain in my breast and my mouth feeling like I've been kissing all night ? Okay." said Elizabeth with a weak smile.

"Oh. Well at least you got to kiss Sam." Jubilee said with a grin. Elizabeth started to laugh but suddenly stopped as the pain in her breast appeared again.

"Ouch." she complained. "That hurt. The effect of Gambit touching...." Elizabeth stopped when she saw Jubilee was about to laugh. "doing a heart massage." she finished.

Suddenly the door swung open and everyone walked in. They all sat down as Cyclops stood up and told them the plan. "We are receiving a faint signal for gen. codes of Emma and the rest. It seems to be somewhere in Alaska. Therefore we have decided to split into two teams. One will go and investigate and try to find the White Queen while the other will stay here in case backup is needed. Team Alpha is the team that will go to Alaska, and it is: Me, Beast, Wolverine, Angel, Psylocke, Gambit and Banshee." Team Beta: Storm, Phoenix, Cannonball, Rogue, Bishop, Iceman and Joseph. Any questions ?"

Jono stood up. #With all the respects sir I would like to go with Team Alpha, to find my teammates#

Cyclops looked at him unsure what to say, Sean came in and rescued him. "I think the lass should go Scott. He's had enough experience."

"Okay Sean he's your student." Suddenly Sam stood up and looked at Cyclops.

"Cyclops, I'd like to go as well Paige is my sister after all"

"Sam you need to stay here with Team Beta in case we need back up."

"But you took Chamber with you !" Sam was getting mad. Storm came up behind him and put her hand on his shoulder.

"Samuel I think that you need to stay here, everyone will be needed in case something happens." Sam looked at her unsure what to do. Everyone was looking at him waiting for his response.

"Okay Ororo. I will stay" he said as he sat down full of shame.

"Then it's settled. I want Team Alpha ready in twenty minutes."

Everyone got up and walked out of the room. Everyone except Sam. He just sat there looking at the wall.

Elsewhere

Bastion paced around the room thinking. ^Soon very soon^ he thought. He heard a solider enter the room. "Sir ?"

"Report solider."

"We think they took the bait sir, should we act now ?"

"Yes. Get Unit KB ready I want all of the machines ready in five minutes. Then depart them according to your signal. And I want a full report all the time."

"Yes sir, I'm on it." said the solider and walked out of the room quickly. Bastion put his hands down at the table in front of him and scanned the screens in front of him. ^Soon.^

Somewhere in the US air space, later

[OUTLAW MUTANTS YOU ARE TO SURRENDER YOURSELF TO THE HANDS OF OPERATION ZERO TOLERANCE AT INSTANT OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES]

"Damn who are those people ?" cursed Wolverine behind the controls.

"We think about that later, Wolverine. Right now let's think about saving our lives. Angel and Banshee I want you to get out there and see what you can do. Gambit, Chamber you follow me to the door we'll see if we can do anything from here. The rest keep behind us in case of a emergency. Understood ?" shouted Cyclops.

"Yeah Cyke."

"Crystal clear."

"Qui."

"Good then, get to work and watch out."

Everyone broke off to do their bit. The door dropped open and Angel and Banshee flew out. Immediately from the three planes surrounding them jumped out some people. But they were not people. They seemed to be sentinels but they were human size and looked exactly like the robots that attacked Gen. X. Without wasting time Banshee opened his mouth and sonic scream hit the first sentinel. The robot blew up to pieces leaving Sean smiling.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" he screamed as he flew full speed at another Sentinel. Just like last time the robot remained unharmed and stood in the air waiting for Banshee. He stopped in mid air in front of the Sentinel. He screamed again but with no use. Next thing Banshee saw was the sentinels hand slamming into him. Sean was blown back by the impact and fell to the ground. [MUTANT DESIGNATE: BANSHEE: NEUTRALIZED]

Cyclops leaned out of the plane with Gambit behind him. He saw Banshee go down and Warren in hand to hand combat with one of the Sentinels. He could see Angel was struggling. Before he could give out any orders Psylocke appeared behind him. Seeing her lover in hands of death she acted. She jumped out of the plane and on to the Sentinel. The machine turned its attention to Betsy and let go of Warren. Quickly she pulled out one of her swords and buried it inside. The robot garbed her with the rest of it's programming and slammed her down to the ground. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" Psylocke screamed as she fell. Angel looked at her in terror and raced after her.

^It's getting worse and there are more and more Sentinels comming.^ thought Scott. He turned around to Gambit and Chamber who were looking at the scene.

"Okay. Gambit I want you to cover me I'm going to try to shoot some of these Sentinels down. Jono be ready when we get closer to them, then your power will be more affective."

Cyclops was ready to attack. He looked at about dozen of Sentinels surrounding them without any motion. As if they were waiting for something. For them to attack, maybe. Maybe for an order. Not waiting much more Cyclops opened fire at the Sentinels. Blasts of energy shoot from his eyes and stuck each of the Sentinels causing no harm. Then hell broke loose. The Sentinels attacked from all of the sides. Blots of energy stuck the plane all over. Sentinels were getting closer to the Blackbird. One of them fired a ray of energy at Cyclops. Cyclops ducked it and fired another plasma ray back. They heard a thumping noise on the roof and a Sentinel crashed into the plane. Remy immediately took on it. He threw couple of cards at the robot which didn't do any harm. Jono joined him and they both used their powers to fight. From behind Beast swung his leg hitting the Sentinel in the head. Meantime a Sentinel appeared in front of the plane shooting at Logan. Wolverine unprepared for an assault took the shoot and fell to the ground unconscious. The ray destroyed the controls and the plane fell into a free fall. Meanwhile Cyclops was defending the door of their falling plane. Hank jumped over to help him. The Sentinels were at arms length now. Beast moved to punch one of them but the robot grabed his hand and pulled him, while shooting a plasma ray. Cyclops was hit by two rays and fell to the floor. The plane was just meters from the ground speeding down. Jono saw that they were going to crash. Leaving Gambit behind he slid down the floor to the controls. Just as he was about to grab the stick the plane hit the ground. The impact threw him forward and he fell out of the plane through the crashed front window. The plane slipped down the rocky ground slowly slowing down. It crashed into some trees that were hanging above a cliff.

Remy touching his bleeding head looked up. The plane was hanging on the side of a cliff. One false move and they would all fall to a canyon which could be hundredths of meters down. He saw no one except Wolverine in the plane. Slowly and carefully he crawled to Logan and began getting him out of the plane. He carefully pulled unconscious Wolverine out of the plane watching his every step knowing he could die any second. He pushed Wolverine out the front window to safe ground and as he was about to step out the plane swayed. Gambit froze. He could feel the Blackbird balancing on the side of the cliff. Slowly and carefully he lifted his leg to step out and the plane. He felt another swing this time stronger and terror filled his eyes as the plane fell over the edge, falling down.

Few Hours Later

The commanding plane landed on the ground. Seconds later three more landed beside it. Black dots appeared in the sky and soon they became human shapes and landed on the ground. Around twenty of them landed in front of their commander.

"All units report." said the cold hearted man.

[MUTANT DESIGNATE: ANGEL: NEUTRALIZED]

[MUTANT DESIGNATE: PSYLOCKE: NEUTRALIZED]

[MUTANT DESIGNATE: BEAST: NEUTRALIZED]

[MUTANT DESIGNATE: CYCLOPS: NEUTRALIZED]

[MUTANT DESIGNATE: WOLVERINE: NEUTRALIZED]

[MUTANT DESIGNATE: BANSHEE: NEUTRALIZED]

[MUTANT DESIGNATE: CHAMBER: NEUTRALIZED]

[MUTANT DESIGNATE: GAMBIT: STATE TO BE DETERMINED]

"Great. Load all prisoners to the transportation plane. I will take care of Gambit." said the man named Bastion. He took few Prime Sentinels with him and walked to the edge of the cliff. Deep down he could see the plane stuck between the walls of the canyon. It's wings were cut off and if was stuck. Bastion gave a command to one of the Prime Sentinels and they flew down to the plane. They carefully entered the plane through the hole in the roof to see Gambit lying on the floor unconscious. "Good. Start the work now. We don't have much time.

Later

Bastion looked down at the plane on the floor of the canyon. He knew X-Men would be here soon. He looked back at his planes waiting to start a flight back to the base. As he looked at the sun in the middle of the sky he smiled cruelly. He thought about his doing. More than half of the X-Men were captured in his hands. Finally his plan started working. First blood was split. Hid dream would come to life. Not a single human would suffer from mutants anymore. Operation Zero Tolerance had begun....
