Andrea Dehrin
was mere peasant girl in Riace, in the kingdom of Amura which was far,
far away from Phyta. Her life changed the day she met Aaron, prince
of Phyta, who had ventured from Phyta to see the world and stopped in Amura.
When she met, he was dressed as a commoner; they literally ran into each
other in the middle of a street market. The two quickly grew fond
of each other, though Aaron never revealed his identity to her. When
a messenger sent to find Aaron delivered news that Phyta was under attack,
Aaron had no choice but to return home and lead his soldiers. Andrea
was shocked at the discovery of her newfound love's true identity and felt
betrayed, but she accompanied him back to Phyta nonetheless, where she
met the royal family. After kissing him goodbye, she bade him good
luck and he rode off into battle. He fought bravely, but Aaron did
not return home from battle. Andrea, broken-hearted and far away
from home, had no choice but to remain in Phyta. She also carried
Aaron's child.
After the initial
shock, it became clear to Aaron's family that Aaron loved Andrea dearly
and she, him. They took her in, and when the king and queen were
slain when enemy soldiers stormed the castle, it was Andrea who defended
Aaron's sister Delia, the only royal member left. The Phytian army
was finally able to repel the invasion and supress the enemy once and for
all, and Delia thanked Andrea deeply for her courage. Andrea also
learned Delia had fallen in love with a young commoner and was anxious
to remove herself from the spotlight and bustle of being a princess.
Inspired by Andrea and Aaron's example, Delia left Phyta with her beau
and appointed an unknowing Andrea as her replacement. Andrea bore
a daughter, Princess Jessica Dehrin.
