    The current generation's chosen defender of Angel's Crest.  Growing up on a farm, Paige had her world turned upside-down when she learned her true identity.  Her past came to her only in quick flashes, and she always wondered if there was something more to her life, but she was not expecting to learn she was the daughter of Althea and a princess of Angel's Crest.  She finally accepted her fate when she was given Dragonwing and was told to rescue her sister and reclaim the kingdom.  Saying to goodbye to her family, she followed one of Althea's loyal servants who led her to Katharine, and after freeing her, joined forces with other freedom fighters.  During the final battle, she and Katharine infiltrated Castle Ravensong and defeated Megas to end the war.  Following the fighting, she commissioned Milan d'Mitri, a Dark World defector, to be Captain of the Guard in her place.
    Paige has been the primary defender of Angel's Crest during Katharine's reign.  Still a young girl, she led the royal army to victory against Roga during the Third Dark War.  She credits her success on the battlefield to her heart and passion rather than technical skill, but her swordsmanship is second-to-none.
    The princess is also very taken with Lord Kayin, who fought alongside her during the Third Dark War.  Defending the country takes its toll on their romance, and Paige often finds herself having to choose between her kingdom and her heart.
