The
claws of the Black Dragon look like
long ebony claws. There are ten
separate
claws that are held together by what
appear to be the dried hide of a dragon.
The
claws were cut from the body of the
black dragon by an Avenger(evil paladin)
nearly a thousand years ago, or so it
is
said. The clawa hold all the mytsical,
and evil power of the black dragon.
Only
the most powerful sorcerors can wield
them. Many are currenly controlled by
Shanara, new Matron of l'Olath
Tagnik'zur.
Dahalk,
the Avenger of Kaytor. He was
unable to control the power of the claws
and was destroyed.
Themic, Daughter of Lightning.
She held
the claws for over two hundred years
before she was killed by a holy paladin.
Kylara DarkStar(aka DawnSister)
The
paladin who killed Themic. She
was taken
in by the evil power of the claws and
became evil. Later dying at the hands
of her own sister.
The claws were missing for many years
before they came to the First matron
of
L'Olath Tagnik'zur. They have
been
past down to each matron as a symbol
of power every since. Shanara
however
has been the first matron strong enough
to use them.
ABILITIES
The
claws hold all evil spells known. They can focus
the users power and do nearly anything.
They cause
the wielder great strain both physically
and magicaly.
Strangly
enough the claws have a great ability to protect
the wearer and to heal them.
