The
legendary Drowbanes are made of adamantite, and are black and purple, with
shades of dark blue. The runes are made of amethyst, and they glow purple
on command. In the center of the sword is a large red gem, containing the
sentience of the blades. They are about 3 feet long each, and weigh considerably
less than typical longswords. When in the precscence of Drow, will glow
bright purple, and will give the user's eyes a purple tint.
Shevarash,
the Elven god of vengeance, gave the Drowbanes to the Baneblade bloodline
as tribute to thier worship of him. They were given seven generations before
Crissaegrim. Thier intended use is to destroy Drow and Driders in combat,
and to allow thier possessor to attack more fluidly and rapidly.

Abilities
include
+4/+8 vs. Drow, acts like scimitars
of speed, allowing user to gain an extra attack with each weapon and to
attack first in combat. Also casts Haste spell, 12th level, once per day,
and does not age the person its being cast upon! However, these abilities
only manifest when the blades are together. Apart, they function only as
+4 longswords.
Can only be touched by those of the
Baneblade bloodline, otherwise death results.
INT: 13 Speaks Elven, the blades communicate
telepathically with user. Bestows upon user X-ray vision, can detect traps,
and can locate object.
