The
Eye of Rage is a small, oval circle that has been forged to mimic the shape
of an eye this outer rim of sorts has been crafted from the purest
gold known to exist on the Prime Material plane. Housed within this golden
circlet is a small, dark-blood-red ruby also about the size and shape of
a human eye ball. The ruby occupies the space within the gold circlet perfectly.
The ruby itself can never be removed as it has been permanently sealed
within the gold casing.
Forged
by the Blood God Khorne himself and given his blessing and praise upon
creation.
The
warrior who wears The Eye of Rage will bellow with insatiable hatred, anger,
and rage. The Eye will turn its wearer into the embodiment of mindless
and absolute violence, destroying everyone and everything within reach,
slaying both friend and foe alike. Once placed upon the forehead the user
will immediately snap into a chaotic, berserk frenzy that does not stop
until The Eye is removed from the forehead and or death occurs. The wearer
will attack anyone without question, friend, family, foe, ect. and fight
until slain which in a berserk frenzy may last well beyond zero hit
points.
The
Eye of Rage is said to have been bathed in the blood of ten Balor.( True
Tanar'ri ) The magical blood of these demons has infused The Eye with terrible
power. The Eye itself is not a physical weapon but more an item that is
wore upon the forehead of the user. The Eye itself can never come in contact
with a magic-user or spell-caster of any type. ( All magic-user(s) must
make a Save vs. Death or be slain upon contact ) The Eye of Rage generates
a five foot anti-magic field around its wearer within this field
all magic and or magic weapons must Save vs. Dispell ( level 40 dispell
) at a minus ten penalty. The Eye of Rage also bestows a 98% magic resistance
upon its wearer..
All
previous owners of this item have eventually perished from its power. Its
current whereabouts are unknown.
