The
longsword's blade is pure white, and flashes brilliantly when danger is
about, casting a light(effectively) around the dark passages of the UnderDark.
The hilt is made from mithril, as is the blade. The hilt is red,
with Black runes.
This
sword was forged by an Elven BladeSinger named Kel'tar who frequently led
expeditions into the UnderDark. This weapon was forged by an Elven
Smith, and enchanted heavily. The powers are mysterious and known
only by the owners of the sword, though the name DrowDeath seems to have
meaning.
Kel'Tar
was stabbed in the back by a good friend, who was under the spell of a
matron mother. The sword disappeared before anyone could claim it.
A century later, it was found by a human named Sirius. He used it
for many adventures, but never used it against the Drow and he cast it
into a river. A water elf held it and became a terror to the city
of Sshamath for quite a while, but died when he was ambushed by a demon
from the lower planes. The weapon was found later in Sshamath by
the renegade Veldri'Velve while on an expedition with his friend (and also
renegade) Xeryintar .
Abilities
The
DrowDeath has a +5 ability versus evil Drow elves. If any evil Drow
tries to use it, the spirit of Kel'Tar will appears (Level 13 Elven BladeSinger)
and attack the Drow. It will also cast an Improved Invisibility spell
if it's owner commands it to, but only once per 3 days.
The
weapon adds 5 to your armour class when fighting an evil drow or beings
in company of an evil drow.
