It was said that years ago, the first set of drow... the ancients, created a mystical weapon to better help the protection of their knew found culture.  Any creature that does not, and has not lived in the underdark cannot control this weapon, and/or their mind warps.  It was forged in the great pools of water, in the deep caverns beneath a "sacred" mountain.  Specially created for the forth son of the Nanshrad Family, who turned out to be Val.

There is an etching upon the blade, when translated from Drow to english it reads.  "Weild power, glory, and will....at once"

ABILITIES
Transfer of light, or darkness, contained within the blade, to a series of kinetic energy cutting waves. The weilder also increases his psionic abilities, naturally.

The Drows Fury also deflects magic of any kind, as long as it is projected, and not conjured.
