The weapon was forged by Carulis Malidin. The weapon was made during a war between houses in which the weapon masters from two houses were sent to duel. Amethin Da'Lorn needed a dagger of power to compete with the wepon master and he asked Carilis to create a dagger. Carilis Created the Rubience

The weapon was first held by Amethin Da'Lorn who was killed after his victory By a mage. The dagger was passed to his younger brother Bregorin Da'Lorn. Bregorin was killed in an event that seemed to curse the dagger. He was killed by the same mage and the same spell. Daronius was the next in line and vowed to kill this mage. He attacked the mage and took his heart back to the Matron Mother.

ABILITIES
The Weapon acts as a Dagger +5. The red glow around the blade allows it to cut threw almost any material. Rubience has the ability to cast sunray once per day. Also has the ability to cast Fireball once a day. 

The Rubience gives an Amor Class bonus of +2 and has the ability to cast cure serious wounds twice a day. 

When touched by any surface elf, the hilt heats up to the point that it burns through flesh.
