Forged By Omareth Symrivven, Ul'Saruk of House Symrivven for the original Waylander, Dariun Evermyst. Every few hundred years, the Drow have been blessed with having third sight. The ability to look into one's future and predict events to come. The prophets of the Underdark told tale of a man, not born of Drow blood nor heritage, who would bring the Drow into a new Era. This man has appeared seven times in the past, taking on the title of Waylander. 1st assassin of the Underdark itself. Each time the prohets have spoke of his return, the Ul'Saruks of each House gather and share thier ideas and construct a weapon suitable for the Waylander...

The Blade has never been weilded, even in practise or show, by anyone save the Waylander himself. It is currently held by Waylander

ABILITIES
The Blade is of Drow Origin and is treated as being a +5 Short Sword. 

When forged, the blade was cooled in the blood of an Illithid (Mind Flayer) giving it a deadly coating. When struck by the blade, the victim must make a save Vs Poisons +5 or suffer 5 hits/turn as the toxin thins the blood and causes it to run quicker. Even the slightest of cuts can cause a victim to bleed to death within an hour. Also, wounds recieved by the Spinefinder never truly heal and are almost instantaneiously infected with Gangrene.

Due to the blades superior craftsmanship, it is remarkably light. Because of this and due to it's runic inscription of haste, the weilder gains +2 attacks.

As the name suggests, the blade was desingned for an assassin. Treat every successful strike as a Backstab.

The Blade itself is one with the Waylander. With it's incredible speed and magical wards, the Waylander finds it easier to defend oncoming blows. As a result, his A.C is lowered by 2.

The Blade also has the ability to leak and manipulate darkness, making it easier for the assassin to reach his target. Adds hide in shadows +40% and nullifies effects of False Dawn.

The Blade has been inbued with many runic inscriptions and has been forged by the Masters of the Underdark. The blade is treated as indestructible.

Once per night, the blade has the ability to cut it's way through the fabric that binds the planes/spheres. This Grants the wielder the ability to travel between planes at a rate of once per night.

The blade is sensitive to the Waylander and will not allow itself to be wielded by another, unless the Waylander approves.
