Sargas
God of vengeance, destruction, intrigue, volcanoes, fire, deserts Malecus@hotmail.com Little is known of the consort of vengeance. Perhaps other gods cast intentional shadows over him, keeping him obscure, little worshiped, an non-threatening. Or perhaps Sargas himself has wrought the obcurity. He is the brooding, sometimes explosive god of vengeance, rage, deserts, and volcanoes. Sargas embodies the the destructive passions of fire. He routinely plots both for and against his allies. He works his revenge through insidiouss means, plotting for years or centuries to bring it about. During such times, he presents a calm and diabolically magnetic personality-a mask of the fires within. He persues his treacheries while always anticipating similar deceits from other gods. He has no loyalty, except to himself going about plots and counterplots without concern to any side but his own. The minotaurs of Krynn celebrate the coming of the cataclysm, thereby freeing their race and plunging the realm of Istar to the bottom the the blood sea. Others have a right of passage involving a journey to the dead lands of old aurim for three months alone, against hobgoblin and tragg draconians. Any being who seeks to disrupt the plans of Sargas shall feel his anger, including other gods he is currently allied with. Sargas has begun to leak secrets of the other Evil gods to interested Nutral and Good powers. Sargas also sends his followers to destroy temples of other Evil gods and blackmail priests to follow him. |
