Season 1

1.MY NAME IS JAKE: PART ONE

On the way home from the mall, five teenagers named Jake, Cassie, Marco, Rachel, and Tobias take a shortcut through an abandoned construction site. In the construction site they discover a crashed ship which contains a dying Andalite named Elfangor. Elfangor gives them the power to morph any animal they touch, and also tells the five teens about the parasitic aliens called the Yeerks.

2.MY NAME IS JAKE: PART TWO

The Animorphs go to Cassie's farm, where they experiment with morphing a horse, a cat, and a rat. When they return to the abandoned construction site to retrieve Elfangor's disk, they find the construction site overrun with human Controllers.

3.THE UNDERGROUND

A local group called the Sharing seems suspicious, so the Animorphs decide to attend a meeting at school to learn more. In the process they are led into the vile Yeerk pool beneath the school, where humans and aliens alike are enslaved by the Yeerks.The Animorphs are forced to make a daring escape using battle morphs, and in the process they lose track of Tobias.

4.ON THE RUN

After receiving an e-mail asking to bargain for the disk, the Animorphs run into some trouble and some Controllers while at the mall.

5.BETWEEN FRIENDS

Tobias shows up in this episode. Rachel and Jake get captured while investigating whether or not Chapman is a Controller.

6.AXIMILI (aka THE MESSAGE)

Cassie and Tobias receives messages from an alien, which turns out to Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill, Elfangor's brother. When the Animorphs catch up with this alien, Ax must decide whether to trust the Animorphs, or another stranger, who is actually Visser Three in disguise.

7. THE ESCAPE

The Animorphs realize that Yeerks are addicted to maple-flavored oatmeal, and so decide to sneak into the Yeerk Pool with oatmeal-filled balloons. However, once at the Yeerk Pool, everything goes wrong. The Animorphs are forced to make another hurried escape.

8. HOME

Homesick for his own planet, Ax uses a high-powered telescope to contact his father, and becomes hurt and upset when he is blamed for entrusting the Animorphs with the Andalite power to morph. Ax tries to hide his feelings from his friends on Earth, but soon learns that he must trust the Animorphs if they are to fight together against the Yeerks.

9. THE REACTION

After Cassie and Rachel rescue a boy from the crocodile pit at the zoo, Cassie begins having trouble morphing. Things only get more complicated when Cassie and Rachel are asked onto the same talk show as one of their favorite male actors. Based on the book of the same title.

10.THE STRANGER

The Ellimist pays the Animorphs a visit and shows them what would happen in the future if the Yeerks took over everything. He also offers them a place of refuge where they and their families can live in safety--if in return they give up their fight against the Yeerks.

11.THE FORGOTTEN

While flying through the forest in bird morph, Rachel crashes into a tree and is knocked unconscious. When she wakes up, she stumbles into a Controller camp, with no memory of who she is.

12.THE CAPTURE, pt.1

The Animorphs must infiltrate a health clinic on the eve of its opening to save the governor from being infestedby a powerful Yeerk. During the infiltration, Jake accidentally falls into a Yeerk Pool. Based on the book of the same title.

13.THE CAPTURE, pt.2

While helping save the governor from being infested at the health clinic, Jake fell into the Yeerk Pool. Although it appears that Jake was not infested, the Animorphs must still keep a close watch on him--just in case. In this episode, Ax also discovers the perils of morphing.

14.TOBIAS

Ax constructs a "living diary maker" which allows Tobias and Ax to relive memories of Tobias's childhood. While these memories help Ax understand how it is to be human, Tobias also realizes that despite the fact that he's trapped as a hawk, he's still the same person.

15.NOT MY PROBLEM

When Jake begins to wish that he wasn't the leader of the Animorphs, the Ellimist grants Jake his wish by transporting him to an alternate dimension where the rest of the Animorphs have been made Controllers.

16.THE LEADER, pt.1

Marco and Jake stumble into a Yeerk trap which launches them off into space via rocket, headed for the orbiting Yeerk mother ship. While prisoners aboard the mother ship, Jake and Marco discover a shocking secret.

17.THE LEADER, pt.2

While Jake and Marco attempt to escape the Yeerk mother ship, Cassie and Rachel are back on earth with a mission of their own.

18.THE RELEASE

19.FACE OFF, pt.1

A school basketball game sets the stage for all this episode's twists and turns. From the capture of one of the Animorphs to the finding and subsequent un-locking of Elfangor's disk, this is the begining of the end of the first season of Animorphs and is definitely a must see.

20.FACE OFF, pt.2

When the district basketball game is stopped because of a supposed 'tornado warning,' the Animorphs realize that the Yeerks are planning to lure everyone at the game down into the Yeerk pool in order to infest them. This is the final episode of season one.
