Let's start with an explanation of the terminology used in
the coding of a scope.
GAIN = the reaction of your audioscope
The gain is what reacts to the music. A 0 gain will create
2 solid lines going from left to right. 0 gain will only go
in one direction and you can not reverse it.
OFFSET = line
Left and right offsets are two lines, left and right sides
of the channel, one number is positive and one number is
negative. The higher the number, the further apart your
lines will appear in your scope. Offsets are not needed in
a 0 gain scope.
BGCOLOR = The background color of the scope.
RIGHTCOLOR = The color of the right channel line.
LEFTCOLOR = The color of the left channel line.
WIDTH & HEIGHT = The width and height of your scope.
You use up to 395 in width for your email and 540 for
your web page.
Click one of the "tunes" to see a zero gain scope.
There are many colors to choose from, both for the
background and for the lines. This
page has a hex color chart as well as the color names
near the bottom of the page. You can use either numbers or
the color name for your scope or background. It also allows
you to pick a background color to see what the line color
will look like on it.
Make it pretty...you can "stack" scopes one on top of the
other. Use different heights and colors and surround it
with a colored border. This one has 7 scopes.
Images can also be used as tables, and scopes added to give
great results. You will need to learn about spacers and
have a lot of patience, but the results will be worth it.
Once you've learned the basics, the possibilities are
endless. Change the colors, width, height, gain, offset
and music. Create a single line or a masterpiece. With the
use of spacers you can make almost anything into a scope.

Most importantly have FUN !!!
