"Chimera"

Although it wasn't as good as last week's "Field of Fire", "Chimera" was an all around pleasant episode. Laas, Odo'd fellow changeling, was an interesting character and he was very nicely portrayed. I especially enjoyed the scene when he turned himself into a flame, as well as the part of the episode when he became fog and covered the Promenade. The very best part of "Chimera", however, was when Odo took Laas to meet his friends. I especially enjoyed Ezri's line, "You've seen through our evil plan!" Also, Jay Chattaway's musical score was nice, as were the special effects. Well, that's about it for "Chimera". The only thing that slowed the episode down was the Quark/Odo scene in the security office. Quark just didn't seem like Quark. My Rating : 9.50 out of 10.00 -- NEXT WEEK : The crew tries to save Vic Fontaine's Las Vegas lounge.
