The Standoff at Derna



The Standoff at Derna took place shortly after the failed attempt to destroy the Dominion Monarch Shipyards. It began when the Romulans used a hospital on Derna, a Bajoran moon, as a cover to hide over 7,000 torpedoes. The Bajoran government saw this as a threat, but the Romulans insisted that as their allies, the Bajorans shouldn't have a problem. A small Bajoran fleet led by Colonel Kira Nerys, proceeded to set up a blockade at Derna to prevent any more weapons to make it through. Meanwhile, the Romulans sent 14 Warbirds to deliver the weapons. At the last minute, the Romulans decided to avert a fight and remove the weapons.
