The Changing Face of Evil




"The Changing Face of Evil" was a spectacular addition to DS9's wonderful Final Chapter arc. The best thing about this episode had to be Jay Chattaway's music, which was absolutely terrific. As usual, the scenes with Kai Winn were great. Louise Fletcher really does a superb job portraying the Kai. Although the scenes with Winn were a joy to watch, I would have to say that the highlight of the show was the Defiant's last battle. I knew beforehand that the Defiant would be destroyed, but I never thought that it would happen so quickly. In one of DS9's best scenes ever, Sisko orders his crew to abandon the ship. As everyone runs toward the escape pods, Sisko takes one last look at the bridge. Then, as the escape pods fly toward safety, the Defiant is ripped apart by two Breen torpedoes. Although Admiral Ross told Sisko that he would be getting another ship soon, I'm going to miss the Defiant during the remaining episodes. My Rating : 12.00 out of 10.00!! -- NEXT WEEK : Kira and Damar join forces to defeat the Dominion.
