The Final Battle




The Final Battle took place in late 2375, and it ended the Dominion War. It began when all Dominion vessels withdrew into Cardassian space. When the Federation Alliance learned of this, it immediately sent out a huge fleet of starships to engage them in battle. When the battle started, things did not look well for the Federation Alliance. The Romulans were taking heavy losses, as were the Klingons and the Federation. Just when things were getting really bad, the Cardassians betrayed the Dominion and started to fight against them. They did so because they learned that the Dominion was destroying cities all across Cardassia in order to punish the Resistance. With the Cardassians on their side, the Federation and its allies were able to finally defeat the Dominion. The war was over.
