'Til Death do us Part

Before I watched "'Til Death do us Part", I watched last week's episode "Penumbra" a second time. When I had finished seeing both episodes, I determined that "'Til Death do us Part" is better. It may be because "Penumbra" doesn't age very well, or it may be because both Dukat and Kai Winn made appearances in "'Til Death do us Part". The Kai was wonderfully portrayed by Louise Fletcher, whom I consider to be Trek's best recurring actress. Dukat was nicely portrayed as well. In fact, my favorite scene of the episode was when Dukat boarded DS9 and strolled down the Promenade. The Ezri/Worf scenes in this episode were better than the ones in "Penumbra", at least in my opinion they were. I especially enjoyed the scene where Ezri discusses her dream, and when Worf discovers that she has feelings for Julian. I wasn't surprised that the Breen decided to ally themselves with the Dominion, since I found out about that several weeks ago, but I was surprised that Sisko went ahead and married Kasidy, even after the Prophets warned him not to do so. I liked David Bell's musical score, which is one of the best he's ever composed for Trek. His music added to the show's atmosphere, especially during the scene where Dukat boards DS9. That's about all for now. Oh, I enjoyed the shots of the new Breen starship. My Rating : 10.00 out of 10.00, better than "Penumbra". NEXT WEEK : "Strange Bedfellows"
