The Retaking of Deep Space Nine


When Sisko learns that the minefield blocking the wormhole is going to be brought down, he convinces Starfleet to compile a fleet and attack DS9. Before they can reach the station, the fleet is intercepted by an even larger Dominion fleet. With the Federation fleet outnumbered 2 to 1, Sisko takes his crew into battle. The Federation fleet engages the Dominion fleet. Just as things begin to look bad, the Klingons come to the rescue and destroy a great number of Dominion vessels. The Defaint manages to slip through enemy lines, and it warps to DS9. The crew watches the viewscreen as the minefield is destroyed. Once it reach the station, the Defiant enters the wormhole and prepares to fight the giant Dominion fleet. Sisko is sudden;y whisked away by the Bajoran prophets. They agree to destroy the Dominion fleet in order to save Bajor and the Bajorans. Once the Dominion realizes that their fleet isn't coming, they abandon DS9 and retreat to Cardassian space. The Federation fleet contacts DS9 and tells Sisko that the Dominion is retreating. The fleet then goes to warp and meets at DS9.
