The Battle of Septemist


The Battle of Septemist took place in 2375, when the Klingons successfully captured that planet. While defending Septemist from the Klingons, an entire order of Cardassian ships was destroyed, and 500,000 Cardassian soldiers were killed. The Dominion could have won the battle if they had sent more ships to defend Septemist, but they decided that the planet was strategically worthless. When Legate Damar discovered that the Dominion had allowed all of those Cardassians to die, he became very angry.
