The Taking of Deep Space Nine


When Captain Sisko mined the entrance to the wormhole, in order to prevent any more Dominion fleets to pass through, the Dominion declared war on the Federation. A large fleet of Dominion and Cardassian vessels attacked DS9. The station was heavily damaged and Sisko realized that he had to retreat. He gathered the Federation crew and made them board the Defiant. They engaged the cloak and escaped the Bajoran sector, along with General Martok's ship. Before the Dominion boarded DS9, Kira engaged Captain Sisko's emergency program. The program overloaded the entire computer and the station was damaged even more. While the Dominion was taking DS9, the Federation destroyed one of their shipyards. The Dominion took heavy losses while taking the station. They lost more than 80 ships.
