The Battle of Weyoun 6



The Battle of Weyoun 6 is a small skirmish that took place in Dominion space in 2375. The small battle was set into motion after Weyoun 6, believing that the war was wrong, attempted to defect over to the Federation. When the Founders discovered Weyoun's treacherous plan, they cloned the next Weyoun and ordered him to stop his counterpart. A group of Jem'Hadar vessels was dispatched to destroy Weyoun after he was rescued by Odo in a Federation runabout. Not knowing that Odo, which the Jem"Hadar considered a Founder, was onboard, the Dominion ships inflicted severe damage on the Rio Grande. With Weyoun 6's tactical knowledge, Odo was able to destroy one vessel before retreating into a comet fragment consisting of icy buildups. After waiting close to an hour inside one of the fragments, the Jem'Hadar began destroying each fragment one by one. Odo was forced to make a run for it, but the runabout was disabled before he could steer it out of harm's way. Weyoun 6 then volunterily killed himself so Odo wouldn't be destroyed. Before he died, Weyoun requested that Odo give him his blessing. Odo did so and the surviving Weyoun let the runabout have safe passage back to Federation territory.
