Professor Charles Xavier - Xavier is Cain's stepbrother. In their youth Xavier excelled at everything be it academic or athletic and this filled Cain with jealously. The standard Xavier set cast a cold and impenetrable shadow over Cain for their entire childhood and the success Xavier gained over his stepbrother ate at Cain for years after years. But unbeknownst to everyone but Xavier at the time,that standard he was setting was an impossible one for any human to reach. Cain would later discover that all the numerous achievements and favor of Charles was due to Xavier's secret ability to read and control minds. For further humiliation at the hands of Xavier,when the two stepbrothers came to blows Xavier also used this hidden power to soundly defeat an unwitting Cain. The telepath would also reach into Cain's mind. Stealing his thoughts and becoming privvy to all of Cain's secrets and jealousies.
The revelation of just how Xavier's ill-gotten success over him was gained and Xavier's invasion into his mind made Cain truly hate his stepbrother. And as Cain grew so too did his hatred. Cain wanted badly to see him dead and when he finally gained the power he needed to defeat his psychic stepbrother Cain attempted to bring about Xavier's death himself. But with the help of various heroes Xavier managed through to avoid Cain's wrath.
Cain and Xavier's background was later retconned during Cain's stint with the X-Men in order for them to have a new, reconsiled relationship. However,the recent Return of the Juggernaut stories have rebuilt an emnity between these two. What their exact relationship is now is unknown,but Cain's last words to Xavier were hostile.
Deadpool - A fellow mercenary only in
title,Deadpool has managed to irritate The Juggernaut like few others. As if the wisecracks weren't enough,Deadpool once dropped Black Tom Cassidy from an airplane in flight so that The Juggernaut had to leap out to save him. On another occassion Deadpool even managed to turn Siryn,surrogate daughter of Cain's best friend Black Tom,against him to save himself from death at The Juggernaut's hand. Deadpool has always managed to escape The Juggernaut by using some pawn or another whether it be Black Tom or even Tom's doctor. The Juggernaut would truly relish the opportunity to rend this guy
into several uneven pieces.
Doctor Dtrange - Seeing Dr.Strange is always a very bad thing for
The Juggernaut. He has on more than one occassion drafted The Juggernaut into providing his services to him. Every time by using his arts to conjure an unsuspecting Juggernaut into one realm or another and then using his leverage as The Juggernaut's only means back home to force his cooperation. To date Doctor Strange has never thanked The Juggernaut for his help, and Cain has a sharp hostility toward him. The last time Dr.Strange ambushed Cain into another dimension Cain fought and nearly murdered him. But Strange was fortunately saved from The Juggernaut at the last moment
Perhaps uncoincidentally, Strange has not conjured The Juggernaut since.
The Hulk - The Hulk is one of possibly only 2 beings who's power The Juggernaut respects.
So much so that at one time he suggested that they join forces because he felt Hulk was almost his equal. The Hulk refused. Since
then The Juggernaut and Hulk have become intense rivals because he views the Hulk as the ultimate physical challenge. The Juggernaut being very proud is always ready to test who's the strongest,as well as show who'll be the last one standing. In their last bout the Juggernaut and Hulk engaged in a contest of strength for the first time and the two were evenly deadlocked. But the Hulk lept away before their battle could be concluded.
Thor - To The Juggernaut,the god of thunder has proven to be the greatest singular opponent of all the heroes he's faced. One time
even temporarily forcing The Juggernaut backwards with an enchanted attack. Though they've fought to conclusion several times,extenuating circumstances have left the results of their clashes mirky. For little more than the purpose of bragging rights The Juggernaut wants no mysteries as to who can truly beat who in this match-up.
