Colossus broke up with Kitty. Rather coldly at that. Kitty was crushed and her surrogate big brother,Wolverine,was none too pleased by Piotr Rasputin's less than delicate methods. Logan told Colossus he was coming with him to town for a few drinks. And it was not a request.

    Nightcrawler knew what Logan's intentions were and decided that he needed to come along to try to diffuse a nasty situation. Logan was going to have a few drinks with Peter,and then they were going to step outside. At least,that was the plan. But Wolverine picked up a scent at the tavern that was all too familiar. He scans the tavern they were in and finds the source:Cain Marko. Sitting at the bar making moves with a woman he had met there.

    Logan wisely wants to avoid any confrontation with The Juggernaut so he instructs Nightcrawler to teleport outside and grabs Peter's hand to lead him out too. But when Peter yanks his hand back in protest he spills his beer on The Juggernaut's face. Peter then offers to pay the man for the accident but that wasn't good enough. He pushes Peter to send him crashing through a door with potentially lethal force. Apparently Cain does not like to have his pick-ups interrupted. Especially when the woman he's putting moves on is none other than the seductive Selene,then future Black Queen of New York's prestigious HellFire Club's Inner Circle.

    Colossus comes back into the room angry,armored up,and ready to throw down with this mysterious strongman who had just nearly killed him for nothing. Nightcrawler fearing for the strange man's safety says he and Logan should stop the steel powerhouse from annihilating the poor guy. But Wolverine tells him to just watch. That Colossus was the one in trouble there. The two heavy hitters trade a couple swings with only Colossus connecting any,then Colossus snaps off a support beam to use as weapon. Cain then rips up a good section of the bar and after revealing that he was The Juggernaut smashes it over Colossus's head. The fight seemingly over already and Selene having slipped away during the throwdown,a disappointed Cain Marko turns to walk away. Colossus rises and charges Cain from behind knocking him into the back cellar room. Cain then regathers and the two square up face to face again. A punch from Cain puts an end to that as Colossus goes flying headfirst through the wall and back into the bar.

    Colossus is out of it after just one of The Juggernaut's "Sunday punches". He's lying motionless on the barroom floor but Cain wants to make sure he gets his point across. He rips out an entire wall,causing all the floors of the building to collapse on top of both of them putting an exclamation point on the fight for Colossus.

    Cain then finds Wolverine and Nightcrawler standing outside. He tosses them a wad of cash to give to the owner for the damages to his place. Because that's just the type of guy The Juggernaut is.

Wolverine-"Not too shabby Muscles."

The Juggernaut-"I missed you clowns? How come?"

Wolverine-"Just lucky,I guess."

The Juggernaut-"You lookin' fer a piece o' this action?"

Wolverine-"Nope."

The Juggernaut-"Smart play,shrimp."

Cain and Logan after Cain had just brought the building down on himself and Colossus.
