Paisley entered Starfleet Academy in 2323 and graduated with degrees in the Sciences, and Operations.
As an Ensign she was assigned to the USS Hypatia a Science Officer from age 20-21.
The Hypatia, was nearly destroyed by a Nausicaan assult on a Federation alligned colony near the Bonestell Recreation Facility.
Her entire bridge crew was reassigned, and Paisley was promoted to LTJ for her valor.
She attended the Vulcan Academy of Science for three years on an excellerated Starfleet officer program.
Upon her graduation, she was promoted to LCR.
Service records from that time, until 2334 are classified, but she was promoted to Commander during the time.
She had a brief assignment on the USS Stellar Wind, as Assistant Chief of Operations,until the Stellar Wind was lost.
She had another brief assignment at Space Station Lyra, as Assistant Chief of Operations before her transfer to Space
Station Nexus, as Chief of Sciences was received.
