The Nyrians



The Nyrians are an alien race native to the Delta Quadrant. The Nyrians don’t like cold temperatures and bright lights. The Nyrians developed a technology which could transport beings over great distances. They used their technology to send their people to alien vessels one by one. Each time a Nyrian was transported to an alien vessel, an alien was transported to a Nyrian space station. The aliens would then be held in a holographic environment that is similar to their homeworld. Before the alien crew could figure out what was going on, the Nyrians would take over the alien vessel and use it to defend their space. In 2373, the Voyager crew was being replaced by Nyrians. The crew sabotaged many systems, but the Nyrians took complete control of Voyager. In the holo environment, The Doctor helped the crew find a way to escape the program and reach the controls for the station. Janeway had all of the aliens returned to their homeworlds and she placed the Nyrians in a nice, comfortable habitat.
