Seska



Seska was a Cardassian agent who was altered to look like a Bajoran in order to penetrate the Maquis. Seska and the rest of the Maquis crew were thrown into the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker. When the Maquis ship was destroyed the Maquis crew was forced to join forces with the Starfleet crew on Voyager, in order to survive their long journey home. Shortly after the Maquis joined the Voyager crew the Doctor noticed that Seska was the only crew member who hadn1t had an exam. When Seska had her exam the Doctor discovered that she had Cardassian DNA in her blood. Seska told him that when she was a child she had a blood disease and an old Cardassian woman saved her life by donating her blood. Then Tuvok noticed that someone was giving replicator technology to the Kazon. The two main suspects were Joe Carey and Seska. Seska tried to prove she was innocent by boarding the Kazon vessel and try to remove the replicator technology. Seska was injured in the process. Chakotay believed Seska was innocent. Then the Doctor discovered that Seska was lying and that she was really a Cardassian. Before Janeway could lock her in the brig Seska overrode the transporter commands and beamed aboard a nearby Kazon vessel. With four Kazon vessels in close pursuit Janeway decided that they would have to wait another day to deal with Seska. Shortly after that Chakotay was captured by Seska and a Kazon Maj named Culluh. Seska then impregnated herself with his DNA. The Voyager crew managed to beam Chakotay off the Kazon - Nistrim vessel and escape. Later that year Voyager was constantly attacked by the Kazon. Janeway then decided to form an alliance with the Nistrim. Seska tried to negotiate ,but Maj Culluh messed up the negotiations. Voyager later met with a fleet of Trabe vessels. The crew found out that the Kazon stole the Trabe1s ships and technology. The Kazon have denied the Trabe settlement on any planet. The Trabe captain tricked Janeway into helping him with an unsuccessful attempt to murder about six Kazon leaders while they were negotiating. Janeway left the Trabe and the Kazon on the planet and set a course for home. Later that same year a Voyager crewman named Michael Jonas contacted Seska and told her everything that was happening aboard Voyager.Seska managed to convince him to sabotage Voyager so the Nistrim could take over the vessel. Seska1s plans were thwarted when Neelix was forced to kill Jonas in self defense. A little while after her scheme to take over Voyager, Seska tricked the Voyager crew again. She sent a message to Voyager. In it she pleaded with Chakotay to come and save her because the Maj got mad when he found out that the child was not his. When Voyager went to help a small armada of Kazon vessels ambushed Voyager. Seska and Maj Culluh beamed the crew to a desolate planet without any technology. While Seska was controlling Voyager the Doctor informed her that her child had Kazon DNA and wasn1t Chakotay1s son. Seska was devastated when she heard this news. The Doctor, Lon Suder, Tom Paris, and the Talaxians helped retake the ship. Lon Suder was killed in the process. Before he died he managed to make the backup phaser banks overload. When they overloaded Seska was severely shocked. She crawled into the ready room to see her child before she died. Maj Culluh was devastated and he fled the ship with his crew. The Voyager crew was then beamed back to Voyager. Shortly after Voyager was thrown into the Delta Quadrant, Tuvok created a holodeck program called insurrection alpha. The program depicted a mutiny with the Maquis taking over the ship. Tuvok created the program because their was unease between the Maquis and Federation crews. As the threat of a muting faded Tuvok erased the program. Three years later Torres found the program and ran it. Apparently Tuvok hadn1t erased it. About thirty six different crewmen ran the program. While Tom and Tuvok were making adjustments to it a holographic version of Seska took over the holodeck. She turned the safeties off and rigged the holodeck to explode. Three years earlier when Tuvok thought he erased the program, Seska got into it and sabotaged it. When Paris and Tuvok became trapped in the program Seska wounded Tom1s arm with a phaser. Seska and the holographic Chakotay chased the two around the holographic Voyager. Just as the holographic Seska was about to kill Tom and Tuvok, Janeway and Torres managed to make Seska1s phaser overload. The holographic Seska was destroyed and Tom and Tuvok escaped the holodeck.
