Synopsis
Voyager finds itself caught in some kind of subspace passage. An alien vessel helps them get out, but its captain demands that all records of the passage be deleted from the Voyager's main computer. Janeway won't erase the records and a battle begins. The alien vessel calls in some reinforcements and Voyager is forced to take refuge on a nearby planet, whose atmosphere is full of radiation. Once Voyager has landed, the crew discovers an underground cavern below a nine hundred year old city. Janeway, Seven, and Tuvok beam into the cavern to investigate.
The away team discovers stasis pods, ships, and everything else an army could need. Without Janeway's knowledge, Seven deactivates one of the pods and awakens its inhabitant. He tells them that they were only supposed to be in stasis for five years, but the controls must have been damaged when their world's surface was destroyed.
The alien belongs to a species known as the Vodoir. He informs Janeway that the subspace corridors belong to his people, and he manages to convince her to help them fight off the aliens which attacked Voyager. There are now eleven ships in orbit, so the crew begins repairs and deactivates the rest of the stasis pods.
Meanwhile, Naomi Wildman is depressed. She's angry at the Vodoir children for making fun of Neelix and his people. She informs Neelix of this, and she tells him that she doesn't want to be their friend. Neelix tells her that she doesn't have to. He puts her to bed and heads for the Mess Hall. While there, he does some research. Using ancient information, he is able to discover that the crew's new friends aren't so friendly after all.
Once Voyager has been repaired, the Vodoir try to capture it to use against their old enemies. Paris manages to pilot Voyager to the planet's thermosphere, while the shields are bombarded by weapons fire. Finally, Voyager reaches open space and goes to warp, leaving the Vodoir and their enemies to continue their ancient war. Later, Janeway tells Seven that she never should have opened the stasis pod in the first place. She set off an entire chain of events, even though she was only trying to help. Janeway then tells her that she has a bad feeling that they haven't seen the last of the Vodoir.

My Thoughts
"Dragon's Teeth" was an entertaining and action packed episode. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't as good as last week's "Riddles". The aliens that Voyager helped release from stasis were very interesting. I wouldn't mind if they made a return appearance, as the episode suggested they would. The visual effects were superb, the best of the season so far, but not Voyager's all time best. That honor belongs to last season's "Thirty Days". I truly loved the Naomi/Neelix scene. It was my favorite part of "Dragon's Teeth", which is definitely worth a look or two. On a final note, I was glad that the Devore were mentioned again, since "Counterpoint" is one of my favorite Voyager episodes. My Rating : 10.00 out of 10.00 -- NEXT WEEK : A mysterious force deposits wreckage from the first Mars mission in the Delta Quadrant. Sounds interesting.
