Inspiration ~ Okay, I'm warning you this is weird. It gives you an insight into my mind which is a very frightening place. I was thinking about this song: "Wise men say, only fools rush in . . ." and that made me think of "The Seven Deadly Virtues" from "Camelot:" "I cannot wait to rush in where angels fear to go . . ." And then I got the idea for the story. Told you it was weird.

Summary ~ No one comes to the Lodging House without something they'd like to forget. Porter's memories are a little too recent to be ignored, however, especially when she starts wanting to accept the friendship she finds there.
Inspiration ~ "Newsies," me, a boy in my European History class, the song "And So It Goes" by Billy Joel, and every scene in which Crutchy appears. *grins* It was also influenced slightly by "Matchbox" by Matchbox and "A Stroke of Luck" by Sharkbait. (The which I've never told either of them, but they ought to know.)

Summary ~ Just when the dust is beginning to settle at Duane Street, Clown arrives and turns it all upside down again. Meanwhile, Brooklyn is becoming a little hot for a certain Brooklyn leader - but Manhattan may not be the best place for him at the moment either.
Inspiration ~ Learning To Receive and the idea of a newsie nicknamed Clown because she ran *away* from the circus.
