Greetings,
The Sci Fi Channel has given us another chance to get S:AAB back on the air. On January 18th, they will be airing a S:AAB marathon. This is a perfect time to let them know how grateful we are, and just how anxious we are to see more. Now is also a good time to let them know just how many fans are still out there. We’ve been working hard since it was cancelled by FOX to bring the show back into production. We’re still not ready to give up!
Since The Sci Fi Channel has begun airing Space:Above and Beyond, a whole new generation of S:AAB fans has emerged. The 201st is a product of that new interest. As a squad, we have joined together to do what we can to let Sci Fi know how much we appreciate S:AAB and want more. We’ve contacted as many individual S:AAB sites as we can to get in touch with fans that have not been involved in a rescue campaign in awhile.
We have chosen a number of targets and different target dates. Our first is The SciFi Channel which will commence on January 19th, l999, the day after the marathon. We want to send thank you letters to them for airing S:AAB and for the marathon even if you don't receive the SciFi Channel. We want to congratulate them on their successful year as a cable channel and, most importantly, request more episodes or at the least, a movie.
Please join with us in this first phase. Write, email, post, phone, or contact by whatever means, any S:AAB fan you know, active or not, and let them know what we’re doing. Mail volume speaks loudly. A small amount will not make a difference. We need quantity.
For those of you who have not written before, we have posted some suggested hints and guidelines to help you write. There are some sample letters for you to follow. Include some personal information about yourself. I’ve learned over the years that we are a very diverse group. They need to know that S:AAB appeals to many types of people.

Nice to see you all! A truly wonderful site. I loved the show when it was on Fox and I'm glad it is on the Sci-Fi channel. I'm glad that you got to see S:AaB. If everyone connected with one of the many squadrons worldwide were to write the Sci-Fi channel.
