Powers: The ability to create vibratory waves ranging in strength. He can emit it directly through his touching an object or he can broadcast the waves from his hands.

Well, Rictor was born to a large family in Mexico. He loved his father a great deal, despite the fact he was a gun dealer. When Julio was a boy, he saw Cable(Really Stryfe) kill his father..presumably over a debt .

At the beginning, Rictor claimed to be part of an army in Central America, but the whole story was never revealed ( wow there's a surprise!). It was most likely a lie to make himself appear to be a tough guy.

In X-Force 34, it was revealed he ran away after his mutant powers destroyed part of his home town. Where he went next is unclear, but he came in contact with X-Factor after he was kidnapped by the Mutant Hating Organization founded by Cameron Hodge, - The Right. He was taken from Mexico to San Francisco where they planned to use his vibratory waves to wreak havoc so they could blame the incident on mutants. X-Factor arrived to thwart Hodge's plans and brought Rictor on as a trainee for the X-Terminators. There he joined Tabitha Smith (then Boom Boom), Rusty Collins, and Sally Blevins as the next wave of mutants to help rescue other mutants that X-Factor located. However, The Right struck again, kidnapping the whole team. They were again rescued by X-Factor (GEEZ people make up your minds already!) then taken to boarding school for safe keeping. However, the X-Terminators went off on their own when INFERNO hit New York and they became adventurers instead of hostages. Rictor and Boom Boom then joined the New Mutants where he developed a relationship with Rhane Sinclair, until her departure. Julio stayed until Cable came along and Rhane left.

Rictor made it VERY evident that he did not like Cable, but he never actually said why. Through his thoughts, we learned that he believed Cable (which was later revealed to be Stryfe)killed his father.In fear and hatred, Rictor ran off into the Morlock tunnels against Cable's orders where he was nearly killed in the crossfire of a battle between Caliban and Sabretooth. Cable rescued him and earned a little respect, but never the trust of Julio. He left the team in order to find Rhane, who stayed behind in Genosha (We all know what happened there don't we).

When next he appeared in X-Force, he was on the other side of the ball as an operative of the Canadian Strike Team called Weapon Prime( the guy's been around). They were sent on a mission to retrieve Cable, but of course, failed. When Cable went AWOL( Cable AWOL?NAH!!) into the future after the X-Cutioner's Song, Rictor defected from Weapon Prime to rejoin his friends for a time. He reconciled with Cable after his return from the time stream, but personal business called Julio back home to Mexico again.(heck gun running is a full time job after all)

Well, we don't see anymore of him until the beginning of that Godawful Shatterstar Saga (*shudder*), when he comes back to the team to help his friend (hehe *snicker snicker*) through some difficult times. Presently, He and Shatterstar are off somewhere..trying to find themselves(hehehe) Rictor now has a BAD haircut (I liked the long hair look better), a better attitude, and a devoted friendship(*SNICKER*) with Shatterstar. (BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA..I BET HE DOES HEHEHEÉ.sorry can't help it. It was just too easy..).
