Superboy Superboy/Clark Kent:
Superboy was born on the planet Krypton and sent to Earth by his father Jor-El when he learned that Krypton would soon explode. On earth he was found and raised by Martha and Jonathan Kent and he became a best friend to Lana Lang. After high school, the pair went to college together. They left for Shuster University in Capitol City, Florida. It was there that Clark became Superboy for the first time and it was also there that Lana fell deeply in love with Clark's alter ego.

Lana Lang Lana Lang:
Lana Lang was born and raised in Smallville, Kansas. She and Clark became friends at a young age and remained best friends through adulthood. They went to college at Shuster University together and there Lana fell in love with Superboy, Clark's alter- ego. After two years at Shuster, Lana and Clark were sent to be interns at the Bureau for Extra-Normal Matters, an agency that investigated strange phenomena. Lana was often involved in Superboy's adventures. Many times she was kidnapped by Superboy's enemies in order to lure him to them. Other times, she helped Superboy out in various ways.
T.J. White T.J. White:
T.J. White is the son of Perry White, editor of the Daily Planet. He was Clark's roommate at Shuster University and was a photographer at the Shuster Herald along with Clark, who was a reporter. T.J. wanted to be a comedian. He often practiced his comedy routines at Florida comedy clubs. After a year at Shuster, T.J. left and became a photographer at his father's paper, The Daily Planet, for a short time. In the future, he became the host of his own TV show in Metropolis. (Superboy: the Comic Book # 16)
Andy McCalister:
Andy McCalister was Clark's second roommate at Shuster. When T.J. moved out and went to work for the Daily Planet, Andy arrived. Andy was a schemer. He was obsessed with making money. He often used Superboy's likeness to help him make money. He tried to sell Superboy T-shirts, authentic fake kryptonite and much more. He was also attracted to Lana and always hit on her, hoping one day he would get a date with her.
