Another Place

by Elysian Wynd
FaerieWynds@TheVortex.com

there's a moment somewhere
in the cascading seas of time
where twilight lasts forever...

somewhere there's a droplet
of rain spilt on space
distorting grey reality--
prismatic reflections surfacing
within a tiny sphere, it seems
though as vast as idle daydreams.

this iridescent fantasy
(a derelict bubble on a careless breeze)
catches the twilight
with frail wings of intertwined dreams:
brilliant beacon in the darkness.. but
you'll miss it if your eyes are shut.

walking grey paths
touching grey faces
our cold reality blinds us to colour..
so if you've lost your way
please take my hand..
I'll lead you to a lustrous land.

clap if you believe.
