My name is Jennifer, and I'm a 20 year old New York City gal. I grew up in Maspeth, Queens, and recently moved to the 'burbs. I currently go to St. Thomas Aquinas college, in Sparkill, NY, as a Junior majoring in biology. I do pretty well in it also, if I may say so *grin*

More about me.. well, I have a very large and lovely family. Well, I think they're all lovely. I live in a dorm at college, with four other very amazing girls! Lori, Sophia and myself all went to high school together, and we met Tanya here freshman year. Kate joined us in our Sophomore year, after our original two freshmen year roommates, Bliss and Elyse, left the dorm. I've lived in the backroom for all three years, though hopefully, I can talk my dormmates into giving me the single room when we move over into the Village next year. Yet more about me.. my goodness, demanding, aren't you? Oh.. very well.
Hobbies: Reading, Writing, Sleeping, Drawing and Online are the major ones right now. I do, however, have other interests. When I wasn't so taken up in school, I used to I horseback ride, kayak, swim, hike, bike-ride, get tormented by friends (Hey, wait.. that should be in my more current area)..
Anyway.. where was I? Oh yes.. hobbies. I know how to paint and to make ceramics, how to disect a pig and how to blow up a room (ah, Chemistry.. ) I can yak about Thoreau and Emerson, discuss the deeper levels of the Scarlett Letter and A Raisin in the Sun, I can quote parts of Hamlet, and, last but not least, I can sleep with my eyes open.
I can carry on conversations on why Disney's 'The Jungle Cubs' deviates from Rudyard Kipling's book in a way that just makes me want to scream! Not to mention Hercules and Pocahontas (she was 13!)

Sorry, didn't mean to go off there (heh, heh). I collect dragons and unicorns, and can very likely give you a dissertation on the different mythical and magical creatures that abound in myth and legend. I can discuss religions and morals and ethics and I can play Devil's Advocate (no, I'm -not- Keanu Reeves!) just to get a good 'discussion' going.

My stuffed animals have names, personalities and jobs, as do my puzzle pieces (Long, very long, story). I can belt out the oldies and some of the newies, but can't dance a step - unless you mean the electric slide or a square dance.

But enough about me... my family. I have one brother, two parents, four grandparents, lots of aunts and uncles, a dash of cousins and a sprinkle of 'degrees' and voila, a masterpiece. We don't always agree (oh, geez, do we ever not always agree!) but we all love one another.

Now, onto various expansions of my webpage.

As noted above, one of my hobbies is reading. I happen to be pretty fanatic about the care and recording of my books. I figure, why not let everyone out there know how I feel about my books too? So here is my booklist. Books!. The first page shows my favorite authors, but a link goes to an actual listing of books and authors that I own. Right now, it's not updated since the second to last time I revised my webpages.

I also write really bad poetry. Read at Your Own Risk. It's like reading Vogon poetry.. Enjoy.

Since it's popular, and I myself like it, here is the famous Wear Sunscreen speech, along with some interesting facts about it's true origins.

Stories! Yes, another page to this already expanded web page of mine! This one is going to start to show some of the short stories that I write. I'm afraid that for my novellas, you'll have to wait until I'm published. *wink*

Photos! Oh yes, the dreaded Photogallery! Some of me, some of some friends.. the usual.

Across the Pond I went to Europe in July, from the 4th to the 24th to study at Christ Church in the University of Oxford. This link contains photos and a narrative of my time there in Oxford, as well as the final paper that I wrote for my class.

Other People's Pages

A link to my brother's homepage, Unfamiliar Poets. It used to be a poetry site, but due to interior problems with the poets (ego's hitting ego's, it was ugly, folks) the site is shortly to be going down.

FiranMUX One of my favorite places to play! An epic saga where the everyday merges with the extraordinare! Original themed text based Greek/Roman MUX. (Found at legendary.org 5000)

Legacies Another text-based MUX. A Star Wars Role Playing Game set 25 years after Return of the Jedi. (Found at legacies.telmaron.com 1138)

The Minos Cluster is another Star Wars RPG that I play. (Found at imperial.palace.net 1138)

I took down the link to my Characters Page, until it's been updated. Sorry for the inconvenience!
