You're traveling down a barely paved, questionably maintained, road.

You gotta be wondering what wrong turn on the information superhighway brought you to this weird and worthless page?

Weird & worthless.....that rings a bell....oh yeah, teacher's comments on my report cards.

So why waste any more of your time here? Aside from the fact that you're hopelessly addicted to the shallowness of the net, you could be watching "Springer." Tough call.

A word of warning here. This page is the literary equivalent of a run on sentence. Kind of a cyber non sequitir.

Still here? GREAT! You're my kinda people. You're also easily amused & led. Excellent candidates for becoming future cult or militia members. Nevertheless, no matter what, DON'T press here.

The redeeming quality of all of the above is that, in this post literate age, many folks have already bailed. "You mean it's just WORDS?" Complete sentences often intimidate them and they feel depressed that they didn't see "LOLOLOL" or "Hehehe" 10 or 20 times in the first paragraph. So enjoy the solitude knowing that you're one of the few, the proud, the Marines...hold it...you are NOT a Marine. Never mind.

About the author: I'm the product of Darwinism gone horribly wrong. Just thought I'd get that in before you did. Actually I'm the product of an Army upbringing. Yup, I'm an Army Brat. Spent the first 18 years of my life bouncing around the world wherever the Army, in its infinite wisdom, decided my Dad (a career officer) was needed.

This had its upside and downside. The downside is that I never had a sense of permanence, of growing up anywhere. Upside is obvious. How many 17 year olds get to head to Paris for their Senior Year trip? You tend to become very adaptable and radical life changes become the norm.

By the time I was a senior in high school I'd lived in seven states, Japan & Germany. I graduated, by the grace of God, from Stuttgart American High School in Germany. I lived at Patch Barracks ( Vaihingen ) on the other side of Stuttgart. This meant that there were long bus rides to and from school. Time redeemed studying. Sure it was.

Patch was a great place to be. Our quarters were right across the street from the "Doghouse." The locals trained their dogs there and we brats immersed ourselves in the local culture...which came in steins. Suffice it to say, I was not NHS material.

Spent most of high school playing in rock bands. If I'd spent half as much time studying as I did figuring out "All Along the Watchtower" off Hendrix's "Electric Ladyland" album.... well, who knows?

Starting the fall of '69 I attended, in a sense of the word, Schiller College in Bonnigheim and, later, Heidelberg Germany. Academically, I majored in psychology and minored in political science. Or philosophy. Some minor details are a little hazy from that period. Come to think of it, the whole era was a little hazy.

Academics aside (two words that describe my educational aspirations at the time perfectly), it was a great time to be in Europe. The exchange rate was still very favorable so I was able to pretty much do whatever I wanted travelwise. Dinner in Paris? No problem, blow off afternoon classes and get on the Autobahn. Spring break in Greece? Train to Brindisi and ferry to Patras. And then there were those trips to Thailand....'nuff said about THAT.

Returned to the states in the summer of '73 and spent the next five years involved in an evangelical fundamental church in Ames, Iowa. In retrospect it saved my life but it was one of those "out of the frying pan & into the fire" experiences.

Headed out to SF for a year before settling in Las Cruces, New Mexico in '80. Let me rephrase that: I based my self in NM. In the 17 years I lived in NM I also made "side excursions" lasting up to a year and a half to California, Colorado, Illinois, Germany & Scotland. Get the feeling that solid commitment isn't one of my strong suits?

The majority of the last six years I was salesman & manager for Autumn Wood Furniture in New Mexico. A great company that designs and manufactures southwest styled oak furniture in Albuquerque.

Being involved in sales & sales management has allowed me to pretty much move wherever and whenever I felt that old "army brat" urge to move on to something new.

And, true to form, I felt the urge again last spring. It took a little while to act upon it, but I've recently moved to Washington State....for the time being of course.

Las Cruces, NM '97

Yup..here's the person responsible for this incredible waste of bandwidth. No, that isn't a small animal perching on my head. NM gets windy in the spring. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I honor my personality flaws, for without them I would have no personality at all.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach him to use the Net and he won't bother you for weeks.

Humor Specializing in the offbeat...ummm..really offbeat

Pics You know, bright colored things.

Family Surprise, halfway serious. Who woulda thunk it?

Baker HS Gittin' edumacated in the deep south.

Stuttgart AHS I did so graduate. I believe in miracles.

Germany Well, not the whole country....

Schiller College Suspect my admission was due to a cash flow problem

Bands What do you mean you've never heard of Sister Ray?

Life Steps Lessons learned along the way

Autumn Wood A touch of the Southwest

Interests Surprise again, I have some

Strange Destinations Feelin' froggy?

Thoughts Worthwhile, they're not mine

Research Eclectic links and such

By the way, the real purpose of this page is the hope that alumni of SAHS, Baker HS & Schiller College will do keyword searches and be magically transported here. Remember Sister Ray? Enough of this drivel for now? I totally agree. I remain, as always, unencumbered by the thought process.

I don't suffer from insanity, I revel in it..........

This complete waste of perfectly good bandwidth was last updated on in compliance with Bill Gates' pact with Satan. I don't make the rules, I just follow them....
